What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been cat sitting for about 10 years. I’ve dealt with single-cat homes for multiple-cat homes. The most cats I’ve watched at once was 4 cats in a home. I am currently living with a cat that is not mine, but she’s been in love with me since day one and she hangs around me as if I’m her owner.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I ask to meet the cat(s) first before committing to the job. During the meeting, I collect a profile of the cat(s) using the parent’s input and my personal observations. I will only work with cat parents if it is a good fit for everyone, especially their cat.

Are you usually available during holidays?

I can work all holidays. I don’t usually celebrate holidays or travel, so I can be available for all holidays. This includes Christmas and Thanksgiving.

Shaunda is a real cat lover…and my cats love her too! She handles the basics well but it is her warm treatment of the cats the makes them jump in her lap the minute she arrives…even before demanding their food.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
