Let’s start with the fact that I have an OBSESSION with cats! I’ve always had cats since I was born. When I was just a child, we had about 9 cats all at once. I’ve rescued strays, and adopted my whole life. I currently own one kitty named Zen. I adopted her at Kitty Kind. Apparently, she’s been in the system since she was a kitty, up until 3 years old when I took her in. Unfortunately, no one wanted her because she didn’t like anyone. When we met , we became in separable and shocked the Kitty Kind Volunteers! Let’s just say if you think your cat won’t like anyone , they’ll love me. Haha I currently cat sit for friends, family & clients outside of Meowtel over the last few years. I decided to take it on officially to the public so I am really looking forward to meeting new kitties! I am more than capable of giving medication as well... I am extremely punctual, organized and reliable. I am currently a pilates instructor at 3 studios in Manhattan. Jersey City and Manhattan (downtown) are most convenient for me because I live in jersey city , but I work in downtown Manhattan. So both locations would be convenient.

My schedule is a bit random, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you are curious if my schedule aligns with your needs!

I love catsitting because I love to be the person that someone can trust in their home with their pet while they’re away and know they don’t have to worry about a thing! Plus the fact I love cats LOL. I used to travel a lot so I understand the circumstance and would love to help someone in need! I am very experienced and I really hope you’ll give me the chance to build a reputation on Meowtel! I promise you will not regret booking me for your cat(s)! Cassandra was absolutely incredible. Both our cats, who are usually very shy, were literally eating out of the palm of her hand from her very first visit. She was timely with her communication, responded quickly, went above and beyond, and maintained a relatively complicated feeding schedule. I can't recommend her enough.

We are lucky to have found Cassandra as an excellent kitty carer! Leaving our cats can be a bit sad and stressful, but Cassandra made it completely worry-free. From the meet-and-greet, it was obvious she loved our cats. we got perfect updates—adorable photos and short videos of play time, treat time and pats. Cassandra is thoughtful, patient, and went above and beyond.

Cassandra was great with our three cats. On her first visit she had them all eating wet food (not a given!) and our shy yet princessy cat permitted cheek rubs and to being brushed. Cassandra was also great at playing with our younger endlessly energetic cat too and sent great photos and videos. She turned up on time and responded quickly to messages. Hopefully we’ll be able to book her again.

Cassie was amazing with my furr babies. I was never in the dark about what and how the kitties were doing. She sent great photos/videos and updates, noting if something was unusual and confirming if something needs to be done for it. She went above and beyond sometimes staying for longer to make sure that the kitties were well cared for. One of my cats has asthma and she learnt how to administer the inhaler and managed it very well. I can rest assured that I have someone to rely on! She’s amazing and I will be booking with her again. ❤️

Cass was the most AMAZING sitter we’ve ever had for our cat. our cat is incredibly shy and usually hides under her blanket all day with strangers, but with Cass she would come out and play. we got so many great updates every time Cass visited. We also ran out of food and Cass really went above and beyond by going to pick more up at the store. She also was able to give me some tips to improve my cat’s nutrition. I am so impressed with Cass and would recommend her very highly.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
