I grew up with cats and have been a responsible cat parent my entire adult life as well. I have two cats presently, Quintus and Cato, both of whom are 12 years old. They are both domestic shorthairs - Quintus is orange, and Cato is white and grey/brown and has thumbs. I have decades of experience caring for cats, including giving medications (pills, drops, and inhalers - no injections, though). In addition, I'm a member of the ASPCA and regularly donate to organizations such as Alley Cat Allies... I grew up with cats and have been a responsible cat parent my entire adult life as well. During the week, my regular job is Deputy Director at a museum/research institution based in Manhattan. I can make drop-in visits for cat care in the late afternoons or early evenings on weekdays and have much more flexibility on weekends. For twice-a-day visits, I can drop in early morning and late afternoon/early evening on weekdays, with more flexibility on the weekends. In Jersey City, the easiest neighborhoods for me to service are the Jersey City Heights (where I live), and Exchange Place or Downtown Jersey City. I am also happy to go to Hoboken. I work in the Soho area of New York City, so I can also service the area of Soho and Tribeca, especially on weekdays.

Schedule Constraints

My bio contains some information on my schedule. I usually work at an office in Manhattan from Monday through Friday during regular business hours, which means my visits during weekdays must be early morning or late afternoon/early evenings, so please ensure you don't need middle-of-the-day visits on weekdays. On weekends, I generally have much more flexibility as far as times I can drop in.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
