I know every cat is different, and I enjoy getting to know their personalities. Whether your cat loves to cuddle, play, or just have someone keep them company, I’m happy to give them the attention ... Hi! I’ve been around cats my whole life and have had my own sweet cat for the past four years. Throughout college I also lived with cats, and whenever my roommates were away, I was always happy to watch and care for theirs too.
I know every cat is different, and I enjoy getting to know their personalities. Whether your cat loves to cuddle, play, or just have someone keep them company, I’m happy to give them the attention they need. I’m comfortable with feeding, fresh water, litter boxes, playtime, brushing, giving treats, and sticking to whatever routine your cat is used to.
I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I’ll treat your cat like they’re my own. I’m also happy to send plenty of pictures and updates while you’re away so you know they’re happy and well cared for. I’d love to meet you and your cat! 🐈💕

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
My favorite part of cat sitting is getting to know each cat’s personality. Every cat is so different, and I love figuring out what makes them happy; whether that’s playing with their favorite toy, getting lots of pets, or just quietly hanging out together. It’s so rewarding when a shy cat starts to trust you or when they greet you at the door after a few visits. I genuinely love spending time with cats, so it never feels like work. I just enjoy making sure they’re happy, comfortable, and loved while their family is away.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have a gray and white cat named Buzz! I rescued him when he was a tiny kitten with a broken leg, and I’ve loved him ever since. He’s the sweetest cat and has the funniest personality. His favorite thing to do is play fetch, he’ll bring his toy back over and over again like a dog. He definitely keeps me entertained!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I like to learn as much as I can about each cat before I start so I can keep their routine as normal as possible. I’ll ask about feeding schedules, favorite toys, treats, hiding spots, any medications, and what makes them feel most comfortable. Every cat is different, so I try to get to know their personality and let them warm up to me at their own pace. I’ll also send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your cat is happy and well cared for while you’re away.

Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

New York cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $31.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
