iām very patient with cats and understand that not every cat is going to immediately warm up to a new person. iām completely okay with giving them their space and letting them come to me when they feel comfortable... hi! iām a cat mom myself to my little tuxedo cat named Gracie so i know how important it is to have someone you can actually trust with your cat while youāre away. cats are genuinely one of my favorite animals and i love getting to know their different personalities!
iām very patient with cats and understand that not every cat is going to immediately warm up to a new person. iām completely okay with giving them their space and letting them come to me when they feel comfortable. on the other hand, if your cat is super affectionate and wants attention the entire time, iām more than happy to give them all the love they want lol.
during visits iāll make sure they have fresh food and water, their litter is taken care of and that they get some playtime and attention depending on what theyāre comfortable with. i also have experience giving cats medication and know that sometimes it takes a little extra patience to get them to cooperate.
i know iād want someone to treat Gracie like their own while iām away so thatās exactly how i plan to treat every cat i take care of. iām also more than happy to send pictures and little updates during my visits because i know how much better it feels being able to actually see that your baby is doing okay š¾š

i have a female tuxedo and her name is Gracie! iāve had her since she was 6 weeks old and will soon be turning 5.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
i would say to look for someone who you feel comfortable communicating with and who will actually take the time to understand your cat and their routine. every cat has a different personality so i think itās important to find someone who is patient and willing to meet your cat where theyāre at!
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
as a cat mom myself, iām already very mindful about the little things that keep cats safe. iām always careful with doors and windows, especially because cats can be sneaky when they want to be. i also pay attention to things they could potentially get into or hurt themselves with and make sure anything unsafe is kept out of reach. when caring for someone elseās cat i would follow all of their instructions closely since every cat and home is different. iād make sure their food, water, litter, and any medications are taken care of exactly how their owner asks. before leaving, iād double check that everything is secure and that their cat is safe and comfortable. iād treat someone elseās cat and home with the same care and attention i give my own.

If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
