My drop-in visits are never rushed—your cat will get treats, brushing, playtime, and plenty of loving attention. I also love taking photos, so you’ll get regular updates of your fur baby looking their best.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
What I love most about cat sitting is getting to know each cat’s unique personality—no two are ever the same. Every time I care for a new kitty, it feels like welcoming a new little soul into my world. And when they become long-term clients, it’s even more special—I get to watch them grow, bond with them, and share in their milestones. I also have a passion for photography, and I genuinely believe cats are one of the most beautiful and expressive subjects to capture. Every visit is a chance to connect, care, and document their adorable moments.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Look for a cat sitter who truly understands feline behavior—not just someone who likes cats, but someone who gets them. Every cat has different needs, routines, and quirks, and a great sitter will take the time to learn and adapt. Don’t be afraid to ask questions about their experience, especially with medical care or shy cats. Trust your gut during the meet and greet—your cat’s comfort and your peace of mind matter most. And always choose someone who communicates well and sends regular updates—you deserve to feel confident and connected while you’re away.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I always start with a short meet & greet when possible so your cat can get used to my scent, voice, and presence while you’re still home. I also take that time to ask detailed questions about their routine, favorite toys, quirks, and any do’s and don’ts. On my first visit, I enter calmly and quietly, often with a spritz of Feliway and give the cat space to approach me on their terms. I speak softly, offer treats (if approved), and always respect their boundaries so we can build trust at their pace
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
As someone with nearly 10 years in veterinary medicine, safety is second nature to me. I always double-check that doors and windows are secure, make sure food, litter, and meds (if needed) are handled properly, and follow any specific instructions you leave. I also stay alert to changes in behavior or health and will never hesitate to reach out if something seems off. I treat your home with the same care and respect I give your cat—lights, locks, and routines are all followed exactly as requested to ensure peace of mind while you're away.

Monique was an excellent and communicative sitter for my 2 senior cats. They warmed up to her immediately. She sent a number of pictures of them each visit, which is such a comfort when traveling. There was a leak that she noticed in one visit and she made sure I was aware of the issue and that we had some exchanges around how to address. Soup requires medication twice a day, and Monique was fantastic at administering his meds. Monique was absolutely excellent. I made a last-minute reservation for 6 visits during Thanksgiving week, and she was very responsive throughout. Monique went out of her way to arrive early to ensure the apartment keys were picked up on time. During the visits, communication was great — I received daily updates and photos of Kiki. Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Bronx cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $32.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
