I’ll be able to attend to anything your cat may want or need throughout the day. I typically respond to texts within 10 minutes. I primarily focus on overnight sitting in your home, but am open to daily visits as distance/scheduling allows!
Over the years I've learned that every cat has their own thing - some want belly rubs while others prefer chin scratchies. Past clients have said their cats seemed happy and comfortable with me, which means a lot because cats definitely know when someone genuinely enjoys being around them. 💫
I also try to make the whole process as easy as possible for you. I know it can be stressful leaving your cat in someone else’s care, so I want both you and your kitty to feel completely at ease. ♥️

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
When I’m working with a new cat parent, first thing is always to ask questions! They know their cat best. I like to ask: what’s their personality? What’s their favorite toy? What do they usually do when you have guests over, do they hide or are they more curious? Anything to keep in mind when petting them or areas to avoid? Belly rubs, chin rubs? I also let the pet parent know that I’ll send lots of photos and videos but no pressure to respond to everything!
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I make sure cats are safe in your home by ensuring plants are tucked away in a room that cats can’t get into, and blocking off any spots that could be dangerous. I make sure they always have access to the litter box, and keep blankets on the couch we can cuddle without any fear of accidents 🐾
What is your favorite cat toy?
I love the fishing rod feather type toys! 🎣 🪶 they’re so much fun for most cats since they tap into the hunting instinct. They can really get a lot of exercise chasing those things around!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Brooklyn cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
