I have been a lifelong pet owner and animal lover, having raised both cats and dogs since my early childhood. I am, by profession, an IT Specialist, but began, over the past few years, scaling back and working from home, which afforded me the opportunity to make cat-sitting a major focus. If asked about my general philosophy around cat-sitting, I would say this: many people view cats as being such self-sufficient creatures, and itās easy for them to take for granted the notion that they are just fine when left alone. Being so familiar with them, and having spent as much time as I have taking care of other people's cats over the years, I realize how untrue this is. It is important for the cats, as well as their humans to have someone there--not just to feed them & clean their litter boxes, but to provide a consistent level of companionship and stress-relieving stimulation, if even only for a brief amount of time every day. Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.
Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.
No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee
We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
