I love cats because they have great boundaries! I respect their autonomy and follow their lead whenever we meet. Once they feel a bit more comfortable, then I approach.
I’m down for quiet time and administering medication as much as silly playtime... Hi! I’ve been living with and loving cats since I was 7 years old. Currently I’m the proud co-parent of a 15-year old elder diva and a 6 year old sweet pup. I freelance and frequently work from home, so my schedule is quite flexible.
I love cats because they have great boundaries! I respect their autonomy and follow their lead whenever we meet. Once they feel a bit more comfortable, then I approach.
I’m down for quiet time and administering medication as much as silly playtime. I regularly sit for my friends whose cats have a wide range of needs, from complicated dietary needs to quirky and specific petting routines. My own girl is a picky eater with a flair for drama so I have different strategies to make sure she’s properly eating.
I’m friendly, responsive, and love to take pics and videos! If you want play by play updates on your cat (as I do) I’m happy to send as many pics and messages so you can feel completely comfortable trusting me with your pets.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
My first cat was named Tiger - a sweet tabby adopted from Whiskers pet shop in the east village way back in 2002! My current cat, Kix, is 15 years young with the silliest meow. She’s a gray tuxedo with the cutest pink nose.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
It’s important to be really clear with your sitter as to what your cats dietary needs are and personality is like. Look for someone who asks lots of questions and takes notes. They should be communicative and take initiative on providing updates. A calm demeanor and respect for different animal quirks is also a must!
Are you usually available during holidays?
My family is local to the city so I am usually available for holiday sitting! When I travel I always miss my cat immediately, especially on holidays, so I’m happy to do as much as I can to make you confident that your pet is being loved and cared for in your absence.

Constanza helped out at the last minute during the holidays when our flights were cancelled due to snow and we had no one around to feed our two cats! We REALLY appreciated her help on such short notice!! She provided thorough & timely updates and photos. The cats seemed very happy with her. We'd highly recommend Constanza! Thanks so much.

Constanza made me feel very relaxed about leaving my kitties for 6 days. She was very quick to respond (and then confirm) when my booking request was sent and the meet & greet went super smoothly. Key swap, kitty wet / dry food brief, litter cleaning brief, kitty personality brief blah blah cat stuff - she acknowledged and clearly understood how important these things can be to a cat owner. And all details, for both my kitties and my apartment, was handled perfectly and respectfully while I was away. I loved that Constanza sent me daily (sometimes twice daily) text messages, photos and video's with updates on the kitties eating and playing. Constanza truly loves cats and I have no hesitation recommending her to anyone who needs assistance with their kitties while traveling. Purrfect, purrfect purrfect!! lol

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving
- December 22-28: Christmas
- December 29-31: New Year's 2027

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Brooklyn cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
