What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love that each cat is so different from each other in terms of personality. You never know what you're going to get. It's exciting every time I get to meet with new cats and their parents! I enjoy being curious with each new meeting and I try not to have any expectations so that I can take in as much new information as possible to cater the visit to you.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

My kitties are named Lucy and Milo, they are absolutely my babies! Both were rescued street cats and giving them the time to warm up to me, and each other, was one of the most rewarding things I've ever done.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

My process includes an initial visit so that new cats, and their parents, can meet and get used to me. I like to start out slow and steady, I will never force a cat to play or do anything they are uncomfortable with. If we like each other, then I will be available for as long as you need me.

Olivia was fantastic! She was communicative, send multiple videos each day I was away, and gave me plenty of updates on my two cats. Both of my cats really seemed to connect with her and I appreciated that she was patient and each time, waited for them to go to her, and not force interactions. But I could see how sweet my cats were towards her and that’s only a reflection of her.

Olivia is a real life cat whisperer. My cat is shy and usually hides from strangers, but Olivia came in and won her over immediately. She sent updates with pictures everyday and it was such a relief to know that Olivia was there and it’s obvious that she’s a pro and truly enjoys the company of cats. My cat is elderly and needs medication twice a day. It is often stressful, for her and me when I have to go out of town. This time I could see how Esther was content and not at all stressed. Olivia was on the case!

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
