What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

I’d always advise you find someone with experience in a range of cat behavior, finding someone who can meet the comfort and needs of your cat is essential! Especially when it comes to maintaining their daily routines.

Are you usually available during holidays?

I am usually available on almost all holidays! If you are in need of someone to care of your cat or cats during the holidays I can be there for ya!

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I always approach making sure I put any of my personal life stresses away, setting a calm emotional environment for the cat. Cats are experts in reading emotion, so I make sure to clear my mind prior to working with an anxious cat. I also allow the cat to interact with me, not the other way around, so they can set any boundaries they need. The main thing is approaching with a sense of calm and comfort allowing the cat to feel more relaxed. I would also of course take into account any methods the owner uses that works well between them and their cat.

There are rare people who can truly communicate with cats, and Harrison is absolutely one of them.  Our cat is extremely shy and usually hides whenever guests come over. Yet by the second day, we received videos of her completely relaxed, cuddling up to him, which honestly left my husband and me in disbelief. He clearly understands how to manage a cat’s personal space and earn their trust. He handled her special care needs without hesitation and provided detailed updates every visit. He was also flexible and reliable even when unexpected situations came up. An exceptional sitter whom we would absolutely book again.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
