What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I’ve had cats as long as I can remember. From litters of kittens, to strays, to sweet house cats, to cranky seniors, I’ve always found so much joy in making cats feel as loved as possible. The most cats I’ve ever cat-sat for is 6 cats in a single house .. the more the merrier! I’ve been watching friends’ cats for over a decade when they go on trips, including feeding, litter box cleaning, companionship, and lots of affection.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I enjoy earning the trust of cats. It feels so rewarding when a cat is open to or wants affection. I also enjoy getting to meet any and every cat I can. They’re truly my favorite animal and seeing all their different personalities is so fun. They’re also all incredibly and painfully cute.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I currently have one cat, Tish. She’s a fluffy gray lady (specifically a Nebelung). I adopted her from a local animal shelter in 2016 when I moved into my first apartment. She has been my loving companion through so many life changes and milestones. She’s my best friend and I think she’s the prettiest cat in the world. This past July, I lost my big buddy, Simon. He was a handsome and sweet menace, and I miss him so much it hurts.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
