Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

My cat's name is Puck. He's 3 years old. He's a long haired three-legged special needs boy. He also has had a toe amputated on his remaining back foot. He's got 13 lucky toes. Our other cat recently passed this past October from Cancer. She was named Grimalkin, she was a short-haired black gorgeous girl. She was very sociable, so gentle and patient and she loved watching the birds in their window feeder and going out on the front lawn on her harness with me. She was only four and we miss her terribly.

What is your favorite cat toy?

We love the feather toy at our house. We also love to spray it with some catnip for extra exercise. We also have a motorized little pod with a feather that sporadically pops out from a few different holes that's exciting too

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

Having a timid boy, myself, I find it best to take my time and be patient with a new shy cat. My boy Puck is a pandemic baby so his formative kittenhood was a home without any visitors. Typically he will growl when a car pulls into the driveway and then run for cover. When anyone comes over, he hides under the couch or bed. I always like to give him options for spaces that make him feel safe when he's scared or anxious. I don't want to stress him out more. I'll ask my visitor to sit with me on the floor in the same room as him and talk gently to Puck, and maybe we'll put out a few treats to le

I have so much gratitude for Sarah! I think I may have more saparation anxiety then my cat! But with Sarah looking after my little fur baby, I was able to really relax and focus on my trip and my work. with daily updates, amazing pictures and videos of play time, I could see that my kitty was being well taken care of and found a new Auntie in Sarah. My kitty, who is very cuddly and social with me, but shy with other people, really warmed up to Sarah which made me really happy to see. I highly recommend Sarah to anyone needing care for their kitty or kitties. 😻😻😻😻😻

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
