I have an almost 15 year old cat named Kitty! He’s a tux and some may consider him not so friendly, but he’s perfect in my eyes. Kitty has had a few medical complications in the last few years. Those moments have taught me how to be strong and practice preventative care to ease his aging process. He is my best friend, and I take caring for him very seriously.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I belive in clear communication at all times! I like to ask questions if I am unsure about something. I also am more than happy to answer questions. As a cat parent myself, I understand the nerves that comes with leaving your fur baby at home. I aim to ease that stress and allow cat parents to enjoy their time away.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

Despite living in a noisy neighborhood in NYC, my cat is quite anxious. Growing up with him has shown me the need for flexibility and understanding when communicating with animals. I do not try to push a cat’s boundaries, rather I give them the space to familiarize themselves and feel safe. I don’t expect every cat to be open to pets or cuddles, as my own baby is not as receptive to those either. Providing for a cat’s needs shows just as much affection as the physical aspects.

Evelin does so well with our 3 year old male cat! she responds quickly and always sends cute photos after each visit. we love Evelin mostly because our cat loves her and he has some overstimulation issues so I know it means even more.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
