I have always loved animals and have spent most of my life caring for both my own and those of others. Every summer growing up, I attended a sleep-away camp on a farm; working daily with goats, chickens, pigs, rabbits, dogs, and cats was both a lot of hard labor and a lot of fun! Patience is fundamental, and I take the time to make every animal comfortable around me. All cats have their quirks and individual personalities, and I find it very rewarding to adapt to their own special modes of communication... Patience is fundamental, and I take the time to make every animal comfortable around me. All cats have their quirks and individual personalities, and I find it very rewarding to adapt to their own special modes of communication.
Whether your cat is a bit of a wild child or more skittish and shy, I treat every animal with a deep respect that puts their wellbeing and happiness at the absolute forefront. If your pet thrives on routine, play, companionship, or just needs someone to make sure they're fed and cleaned up after, I am someone you and your cat can rely on.
My own cat was a big fan of getting into things she shouldn't, so I know how important it is to keep a watchful eye and a safe environment. I have experience caring for picky eaters, messy litter box attendees, and senior animals (including my own 14 year old puppy!) who require medication and extra help around the house. I'm unafraid to handle specific needs and give your pet the genuine care they deserve, while keeping you unworried about and updated on your furry family members!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I had a lovely tuxedo kitty Goose who sadly passed away a few years ago, but she taught me that I am forever and always a cat person! I truly love being around cats, and I think they enjoy my company as well; friend's cats are known to choose my lap for their sleeping spots.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
My phone is never not near me, and if any concerns or questions arise, I communicate them immediately and clearly. I'll send pictures and text updates so you don't have to worry about anything when you're away!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Always, I approach cats calmly and quietly. Enticing them with their favorite treats or toys can help them be less nervous, but some kitties just need time to warm-up to a new person! I know how to be patient and let them interact on their own terms.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
