Not only was it clear that she understands cats and what they do/don’t like, but she gave tons of updates and pics where we could tell our cat was going about her normal day and totally at ease. Thank goodness Franka was there because our apartment had some building issues during her stay, and she was on top of it! She managed to find the super and maintenance team asap (without us since we didn’t have good service), so the issues were handled before we returned. She also left the apartment spotless. Can’t recommend her enough!! she is worth the little bit extra $ to have a true cat lover and trustworthy sitter. 😻😺"

"Erika was an outstanding overnight cat sitter for my senior kitty. So far she has completed three separate bookings for my cat: 3 nights, 2 nights, and 15 nights. Erika was unphased by the requirements of my senior kitty: twice daily pills, twice daily ear drops/ointment, and daily ear cleaning. She reported several times through the day on exactly what time these things were done, and how they went. Additionally, my cat is prone to going on hunger strikes when I leave; Erika promptly communicated how much the kitty ate and how long it took for her to eat (or not) her food so we could make decisions together about whether/when to stimulate her appetite. For one more challenge, my cat was having some litter box issues; thanks to Erika’s diligent reports, we tested a different litter and box placement and found a combination that got kitty back on track. Erika sent great photos and updates. She was a perfect house guest as well— my place looks as good or better than when I left, even after a couple weeks. I’ve already rebooked Erika for my next trip. And my cat will be thrilled— it’s clear she got a little attached and enjoyed “helping” with her knitting."

She brought our deliveries in our home, washed out kitty's rugs, and turned on the A/C before our arrival to make us comfortable as we got home after a week. It was clear from the meet/greet that she takes her cat sitting responsibilities seriously and that she was quite experienced with cats with medical needs based on her questions. She is very communicative, able to manage multiple cat medications and thoughtful. We received daily videos, photos and updates about how our cat was doing, including any signs of his IBS, what he was eating/drinking, and litter box use. She made sure to empty the litter genie and left our kitchen in tip top shape after staying over for 6 nights. I would recommend her highly."

"Elizabeth is the best! That’s all you need to know, but I shall not gatekeep her glory! Elizabeth just cat sat for me for 10 days (45 min sessions) while I was on vacation in Hawaii, an 11-hour flight from where I live. I had never used a cat sitter before—as in, I have never left my cat Rune alone for more than a DAY, so you can imagine how skeptical and scared I was. I decided to give Meowtel a chance over Rover because I read online that Meowtel vets their cat sitters much more extensively, and I was really nervous at the prospect of allowing a stranger into my home while I was away. I’m SO GLAD I decided to trust my gut and try it, because I truly could not have asked for a better experience than the one I had with Elizabeth. I was so impressed with her. Elizabeth got in contact with me quickly after booking and asked thorough, thoughtful questions leading up to our reservation (and took her OWN notes!). It’s clear to me that she truly cares about what she does, and has extensive experience with cats, because she knows how to interact with them in a way that respects their boundaries and keeps them calm yet curious. She asks all the right questions. She is kind, calm, professional, soft spoken, follows directions to a T, she’s an excellent communicator (she told me every day what time she expected to stop by and provided photos/videos/summaries every single day), and she was so incredibly respectful of my space and things (she left everything exactly as I had it and even asked if I have any house rules and if she should take off her shoes which I thought was so sweet of her). More than experience alone though, I think she truly has a gift with feline friends. My kitty took a liking to her right away, and he normally hides under the bed and doesn’t trust strangers. Not so with Elizabeth - he saw something good in her and bravely came mosying up to her from day 1, and by day 2 he was playing and making biscuits on her! Elizabeth is the kind of person who you can tell just has good cat energy/spirit, and animals can tell too. She even still visited my kitty during a 2-day snowstorm! My flight home was also delayed and there was a possibility I would need to extend my reservation and have her come an extra day, and she said it would be absolutely no problem. I can’t tell you how much that flexibility meant to me, knowing that if need be, I wouldn’t need to book with another stranger for a day or have my kitty get to know somebody else again. She spent every day checking for all the things I asked her to, playing with my kitty, giving him treats, and most of all giving him love, enrichment, and human interaction. I can’t recommend her enough. From one neurotic and overly-attached (but is there really such a thing?) cat mom to another, if you’re reading this, this is exactly who you want - you will not regret booking with Elizabeth one bit. It’s not easy being away from your pets but she will erase all anxiety and you’ll feel so much better knowing that your kitty is in the best care possible in the meantime. I will definitely be booking with her again in the future, and I know my kitty already can’t wait to see her again (I think he is seriously in love)!😻"

Kyle responded to all of our communication promptly, clearly and professionally. He asked insightful questions about our cats’ dispositions, health needs and play preferences. While we were away, Kyle let us know when he arrived at our home and when he left. We always received information about how our cats ate, took their medicine and what they got up to when Kyle was there. He sent photos of our cats every visit, brought some yarn 🧶 for them to play with and even brought a heftier tool to brush their thick fur.
