Having owned cats throughout my life, I understand every cat has their own personality, routine, comfort level, and ways of communicating... I am a lifelong animal lover and am especially passionate about cats. I currently have a cat of my own who I love working on harness training and other enrichment activities. Although I am new to Meowtel, I’ve been helping my aunt with her pet sitting business since I was a child, giving me years of hands-on experience caring for animals.
Having owned cats throughout my life, I understand every cat has their own personality, routine, comfort level, and ways of communicating. My goal is to make each cat feel safe, comfortable and taken care while you’re away!

I have one cat, he is a 1 year old gray tabby named Kovu! He is silly, smart, and loves sitting in drawers.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I believe communication is key. Going in, I will ensure I understand instructions, such as routines, hiding spots, doors/windows that need to remain closed, and any areas that are off-limits. I double check doors are locked and secure and am careful with housekeys, codes, or other information. During visits I pay attention to behaviors and will communicate if I notice a concern. My goal is to provide peace of mind!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
For cats that are particularly timid or anxious, I make sure I come in calm and ready to meet them where they are at. I will ask about their likes/dislikes, toys, treats etc. so I have a sense of who they are going in. I am more than happy to just sit in the same room with them and give space as long as is needed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
