Hi there! My name is Chloe, and I've been working with cats professionally for over a decade. I'm 100% crazy about cats and proud of it! I have one 15-year-old cat of my own and he's the love of my life.

I began volunteering at my local animal shelter in middle school in the 'junior volunteer club' and eventually became a Cat Care Assistant. I spent hundreds of hours caring for ill and anxious kitties through socialization, feeding, and cleaning. While working at the shelter, I received extensive training in safe animal handling, reading an animal’s body language, and positive reinforcement training techniques. Since then, I've studied companion animal cognition at Yale, my cat became famous online, and I worked in a veterinary hospital in 2020... Hi there! I also helped kick-start a rescue organization (Off the Rocks Animal Rescue) during college, where I often singlehandedly cared for 10+ kittens at a time!

I love taking pictures of cats, so you'll always get tons of photo updates when I'm spending time with your fur babies. My day job (producing audiobooks) is hybrid, so on remote days I will be able to spend all the time in the world cuddling and playing with your cats. Your home will always be left in pristine condition after I've been by, and I'll respond to texts/calls quickly. I'm fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and will follow any sanitary precautions necessary to keep your space safe and clean.

My favorite pastime is hanging out with cats, but in my free time I also enjoy doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles, exploring Central Park, working on embroidery projects, and finding the best vegan food in New York City!

I live uptown in Hamilton Heights/Sugar Hill (zip code 10032), but can easily make it to any part of Manhattan.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

My cat Ozzie is everything to me! He's 15 years old and loves making mischief, sitting on laps, and doing tricks (he can sit, lie down, come, jump through a hoop, and high-five!). He's famous on Instagram with over 14k followers--I take pretty great cat pictures. Ozzie lives back in my hometown, so getting to care for cats in the city helps me miss him a little less. I know how hard it is to be away from your pet, and I'll treat each one of your fur babies with the same love I have for Ozzie.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I always let cats approach me at their own pace. Does your kitty want to start out by hiding under the bed? Totally fine. I'll let your cat get used to having me in the space as I go about care tasks, then maybe slowly offer a favorite treat at the end of my visit. Hiding spots are safe spaces, and I'll never force interactions with a timid cat. This technique allows your anxious fur baby to begin to trust me, and usually by the end of every booking even the most shy kitties are peeking out to say hello. I've been called a cat whisperer by several of my clients!

Right from the meet & greet I knew Chloe was going to be an exceptional cat sitter. She listens attentively and asks questions to make sure your cat has all their needs met. We have a very shy guy and with in a few hours Chloe was able to entice Buddy to come out from under the bed. I am still not sure how she does it but she can even make a nervous cat feel comfortable. She is very reliable and sends thorough updates with pics! I will definitely book Chloe again and I know my cat will be very well cared for!

Chloe was amazing! Extrememly friendly and kept me updated through the entire time I was away with pictures of my cats. My one cat is extremely shy and will not come out for anyone, but Chloe was able to get him out of hiding for some cuddles and play time. Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

New York cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $31.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.

Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
