I grew up in a cat-friendly home, have volunteered in animal shelters and adoption agencies while... Hi! I’m freshly local to the Westchester area but have been cat sitting since first leaving for college. I’ve got plenty of experience with short term and long term clients. While most of my experience comes with semi-feral and more standoffish cats, I always love a cuddly cat and am more than happy to cuddle, play with, and entertain any and all cats.
I grew up in a cat-friendly home, have volunteered in animal shelters and adoption agencies while away at college, and plan on adopting a cat (or several) once I’m settled into the area.
Outside of cat sitting, I have experience in emergency management, am almost always reachable, and like Dwight Schrute, don’t observe most major holidays. Happy to be a resource and help keep any and all cats happy, healthy, and entertained.
Regarding specific breeds, I have significant experience caring long term for domestic shorthairs, Maine coons, sphynx, and various other lovely cats. I have not spent significant time with kittens, but have worked with cats from 1-year to 13-years old and am experienced with feeding, cleaning, and cuddling.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
My focus is on getting to know the cat and cat parents. Making sure I am a match and am exactly what the cat and parent are looking for is tantamount. I enjoy getting detailed instructions, clear guidelines, and am happy to meet any and all requirements laid out. I prefer clear communication and aim to treat the cat and cat parent as if hope any sitter would treat me and my cats.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes, I am almost always available during standard holidays. I am not religious and am used to working through most holidays and standard vacation periods. Even when I am off from work, I prefer to stay in, take it easy, and read a book instead of traveling or going out.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
As an anxious and timid human, I get it. Taking my time, going slow, and allowing the cat to be in control of the interaction are what I aim for. If a cat doesn’t want to interact with me, I won’t force it. My goal is to make sure they are happy and healthy, so if the bare minimum of checking their water and food, cleaning the litter box, and staying out of the way is what the cat wants, I won’t push it.

If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
