My girlfriend and I have been cat parents to three amazing cats of our own for the past 5 years and have been cat sitting for others for just as long! I love just how unique each of our feline friends can be, which is why I offer the kind and attentive care that I’d want for my own.
Whether your cat is shy and independent or cuddly and playful, I’ll respect their boundaries, learn their routine and habits, and give them all the comfort they need while you’re away. I’m clean, respectful of your home, and will always send photo and text updates about how your kitty is doing.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love meeting new cats because they are all so different. I like getting to know their personalities because I find them to be so funny, entertaining, and adorable. They truly bring me joy just for existing. I’m on a mission to meet as many cats as possible 😎
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have 3 cats, 2 boys and 1 girl! The girl’s name is Tako and the boys are Taro and Riu!
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I make sure that all the entrances (doors & windows) are closed or locked, so that the cats can’t get out and nobody can enter as well. Then, I make sure that there is nothing dangerous around the home that can harm the cats.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes, I am usually available during most major holidays, such as Thanksgiving or Christmas! I don’t really travel elsewhere during those times.
What is your favorite cat toy?
I love those sticks with a string or small plush hanging on the end of it 😬 I also like the laser toy; my cats go crazy chasing it around the room.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I give them the space and time to realize that I’m a friend and not a threat. I always allow them to sniff my hand first and then slowly see if they’ll let me give them some pets. If not, then I just give them some more time and try again another time. It just takes time and patience, but I know they’ll warm up eventually 🙂

Dee is a great cat sitter! He stepped in last minute to watch my two cats, made sure my one kitty got her medication, and made sure they were safe and comfortable during the day when construction was happening. Also sent me super cute pics of my kitties, which I appreciated getting, every visit. very reliable and caring - I would definitely hire Dee to watch my two cats again!

He is very warming and welcoming ! Dee asked additional questions to try to get to learn my pets so that they will be comfortable with him. Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:

- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Rego Park cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $30.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
