Cats are some of the most joyful creatures this world has to offer. I love taking care of the babies of cat parents while they go out and enjoy their time. I offer warm and caring service for all cats.

I’ve been trained on foster kitten care through NYACC, so I am adept at taking care of the smallest kittens and the unique challenges they have to offer. I have extensive experience administering eye medication, topical ointments and have mastered the art of hiding medicine. My approach is gentle and nurturing... I offer warm and caring service for all cats.

During the visit, I will be providing frequent updates through text, as well as plenty of photos to keep you company! It’s hard being away from your little one. I am also more than happy to water any plants, take out trash, or bring in mail, just make sure to bring it up with me!

I work a hybrid model, 9-5 pm. I split my time between BK and Queens. I do not mind traversing the rest of NYC, for your needs.

The safety of myself, the cats, and you are incredibly important! And I hope we can keep each other safe. I’m available to chat via the app to answer any questions you may have!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

Walking into a house and getting greeted by cats always makes my day. Shaking the treat bag and giving out treats!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have a sweet boy named Timi. He’s my spoiled divo and I love him to bits. I also care for a few outdoor cats and colonies.

Are you usually available during holidays?

I’m usually available during holidays as I’m from NYC, so family is in town. Any travels will be communicated. Also appreciate check ins for my availability during the holidays as it can get hectic!

Dayana is a phenomenal cat-sitter. She is extremely detail-oriented and took pictures of their food, water, litter box, and of course our kitties, every time she came over. She gave us in-depth, comprehensive updates and it made me feel so much better knowing our cats were well cared for. Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Ridgewood cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $31.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
