I am very familiar with giving injections and oral medications. I had an incredible boy that had horrible vertebral spondylosis that received medication three times a day for the last few years of his life, along with acupuncture biweekly. I put my cats well being first!
I am currently in nursing school working towards a bachelors. So I figured since I do not have time for a regular job, this is the perfect gig. I get to receive extra love during my time away from the chaos of school work. I would be honored to take care off your fur baby or babies! I would love the opportunity to play with your babies or just sit and pet them.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been watching cats for over 20 years. I’m 43 years old and have had cats all my life. I go over to the cat’s home feed them and give them fresh water or check their fountain. Then I sit with them and play with them for the remaining time I’m scheduled to be there. I give the kitties love, treats (if approved by parents) and engage with them.

Currently I have two cats, Alister (4 year old Maine Coon) and Chloe ( 4 and a half year old DLH). I have had cats all my life though. I had two of my own cats before Chloe and Alister that lived to 17 and a half years old (Oliver) and 20 years old (Koala). My cats are my furry children. I
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I am quiet and calm by nature. So I go into the home get out the treats and just sit down. I let the kitty come to me, which they always do in time.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
