I don’t have any cats currently, but I was fortunate to adopt Jadoo, a stray kitten I met at the Humane Society of Charlotte. She taught me so much about patience, trust, and how important it is to respect each cat’s unique personality and pace. Helping her transition from a scared stray to a loving companion was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. That journey shaped how I care for cats today; I’m especially gentle and attentive, knowing how much love and patience some cats need to feel safe and happy. I look forward to giving your cats that same care.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I take safety very seriously - both for your cat and your home. I follow any specific instructions you provide, like securing windows, doors, and keeping hazardous items out of reach. I always supervise your cat during play and make sure they’re in safe spaces. I keep an eye out for any signs of distress or health issues and communicate promptly with you if anything seems off. I treat your home with the utmost respect, leaving everything as I found it. Your cat’s well-being and your peace of mind are my top priorities.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

For timid or anxious cats, I’m extra patient and let them set the pace. I give them plenty of space and time to come out of their shell, avoiding sudden movements or loud noises. I use gentle tones and offer treats or toys to build positive associations. Sticking to their usual routines helps them feel safe, and I always watch their body language closely to adjust my approach. My goal is to create a calm, reassuring environment where they can feel comfortable and secure.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
