Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have two gray tabbies, my short hair, Seal and long haired, Squish. Both were shelter rescues and are apparently "a bonded pair" but fight like rivals sometimes. They bring so much joy to my days.

What is your favorite cat toy?

In my household, we're big fans of kicker toys and anything on a stick. Seal enjoys "hiding" in her tunnel and catching things on a string every day.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I have worked in two animal rescue groups in the area and I would treat them the way trainers would treat our anxious dogs. Give them space, talk softly, move slowly. If there is time, I would spend floor time with them just sitting quietly to let them approach me at their pace until they are comfortable with me.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
