What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love meeting new cats and getting to know their unique personalities. Whether I get to win over a shy cat, cuddle with a lovebug, or witness the zoomies of a kitten, I feel lucky to hang out with a kitty friend! I know how stressful it can be on you and your cat to be apart, and I want to minimize that as much as possible.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

This is my number one priority. This success will begin before I step foot in the home by making sure I have clear instructions for any safety or security risks. Knowing if your cat is an escape artist, likes to chew on cords, or might hide in unusual places is a good spot to start. I am careful and organized by nature, so you’ll never have to worry about a door or window being left unlocked. I always do a “head count” before leaving to ensure all cats are accounted for and can access food, water, and litter.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

As a foster cat parent, I’m used to cats at their very worst- abandoned, abused, scared, depressed, and more. I take extreme care when helping these cats adjust to new elements, and I promise the same level of care for your cat. I will always be calm and patient and build a relationship on the cat’s terms. I’ll let them come to me and am not above bribery (approved treats and toys)! I’ve had plenty of shy cats, and I know there’s nothing wrong with them; it’s all the more rewarding when I win them over!

Ella was amazing! I was worried my cat was going to hide from her the whole stay as she sometimes does with new people. However, she warmed up to Ella and was able to have some play time and pets. :) Ella must have a wonderful energy about her. She was quick to respond and I had no worries about my girl being hungry or lonely. I will definitely be booking with Ella in the future!

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
