I read body language very well and am comfortable in all situations. I'm very flexible and always willing to help. Working in the animal field has always been and always will be, my passion.I’ve cared for cats just as long as I’ve done dogs, over 10 years. I’ve also worked in O/R helping spay and neuter strays, exam room for routine check ups, neonatal care and more. I’m also a foster at OAR and absolutely love being able to help.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I spent many years as a veterinarian technician, I’ve also worked at cat shelters helping spay and neuter, vaccinations and more. I’ve been pet sitting in general for over 11 years.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love spending time getting to know the cats. Majority of my sittings have consisted of lots of cuddles, playtime, and neck scratches.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
My favorite cat sitting reservation was actually my very first one. There was a family traveling to my state with their cats and that ended up being a boarding situation. Every year they would stay for the 4th of July. One of the cats had three legs and I thought that that was really cool!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
You will know that you’ve found the right sitter right away. Before the questions, before the answers, you will know the moment that you lay eyes on them.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
First and foremost staying active with communication, you must first gain the trust of the parent, lastly show them how much you love their pet.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Making sure all entry ways are secured, checking for the ones that may be hiding and making sure they are at least in the home, keeping parents updated, making sure everything is accessible.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes I am, I actually rarely ever turn anyone away. If I’m unavailable for the selected services, I will try to accommodate with an alternate.
What is your favorite cat toy?
I love seeing my own kittens running and chasing each other through their cat tunnels, or their scratch boxes. Laser beam chase is also fun!!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I usually just do their care and be present making sure their needs are met without disturbing them. Less is more with them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
