I have had cats for as long as I’ve been on this earth and so I know how much light they bring to life. My first personal fur baby I had for 18 years before she passed the rainbow bridge in October 2024. Caring for her in those last moments was some of the hardest but most rewarding times... Hello there! I’m a cat-obsessed pediatric occupational therapist who loves a good book and cup of coffee. I have had my own cat for as long as I can remember so I know how hard being away from your furry friend can be, and I would love to make it easier by providing you peace of mind.
I have had cats for as long as I’ve been on this earth and so I know how much light they bring to life. My first personal fur baby I had for 18 years before she passed the rainbow bridge in October 2024. Caring for her in those last moments was some of the hardest but most rewarding times. It’s where I learned how to give medication by mouth; I was also feeding her and giving her liquids by hand because she was so weak. My current fur baby Orion came into my life a month after her passing. I had no intention of adopting so fast, wanting to honor her memory, but he chose me and there’s not a single doubt in my mind she sent him to me. In addition to my gremlin boy, I also have two ducks, Suzette and Pebbles!
Please know that I want to help you however you need; I do work at a local school so I typically offer morning and evening visits during the week since I work 8-4, but during breaks I have more availability. If something looks unavailable just message me and we can find a solution to fit your needs. :)

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I have always loved volunteering and visiting animal shelters to just learn different personalities and that has definitely translated over to my cat sitting services. Each cat brings their own unique characteristics and joys and it’s so fun to patiently find that out.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I had a sweet girl named Ruby whom I lost about a year ago, so I know about caring for an animal in their final years, medicating them, and loving them through that. I got my sweet Orion boy November 2024 and he is the light of my life. He is a sweet, curious, and smart gremlin boy. He loves to be held like a baby (especially for Grandma who gives him belly rubs), get chin scratches, and cuddle, but then his ears go to the sides and his eyes get huge and you know you’re in for an adventure. :)
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I will message you to get more information about your fur baby. I will also ask if you would prefer to meet in person to go over routines and to see if I’m a good fit for your fur baby’s needs. However, I also understand that life is busy so I also offer phone calls/virtual calls/messaging conversations to better understand your routine and important information for sitting (favorite toys, location of items, how to best enter your home, hiding spots, etc). I welcome any and all questions/concerns! I know leaving your fur baby can be scary and you are their expert.
What is your favorite cat toy?
My current favorite cat toy for my sweet boy is his treat logic puzzle. It’s shaped like a pizza with a bunch of different crevices. I’ve enjoyed modeling and teaching him how to navigate the different pieces.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Cuyahoga Falls cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $22.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
