My name is Megan I have 6 kitties of my own, plus 2 dogs, and several scale babies. I help foster for several local rescues and help with TNR efforts to decrease stray population. I’m also a registered veterinary technician.

I have experience with kitties of all spice levels and with administering oral/topical/injectable medications along with subcutaneous fluids if needed. I am also comfortable doing glucose checks and corresponding with your DVM for those diabetic kitties that get stressed easily and don’t want to eat prior to insulin administration. I used to work overnights caring for hospitalized patients on my own so I am comfortable doing these things without assistance if able to be achieved safely for your fur baby and myself. Behavior is one of my favorite aspects of veterinary medicine so hissing/growling won’t scare me away (if anything it makes me want to earn their trust even more!) I promise to love your kitty as if they were my own to make their time away from you not so stressful <3

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes! I have 6 kitties. Mavis Sesame, OMD (short for OhMyDoodness…it’s a long story lol), Toast, Hemi, Shelby, and my most recent foster fail Tairn. Plus usually have anywhere from 7-12 fosters/strays/ferals in my care.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Most of the time yes. I have far too many pets to go on vacation. I can also be available for short notice needs as we all know emergencies happen!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I like to sit with them and let them come to me if they are comfortable enough. Show them I’m not scary and only there to help. Treats/toys may be involved if kitty doesn’t get scared by them!

Megan was absolutely wonderful! Zelda is a very aloof cat at first and she instantly made a connection with him. She gave rons of updates, and sent many videos and pictures (she is a very talented cat photographer- she got some of the best shots of zel I've seen). She went above and beyond, I'd give more than 5 stars if I could.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
