I know leaving your pets in the hands of someone else is anxiety inducing, so my goal is to make it as easy and stress free as possible for both you and your fur baby š„°... Hi! Iām Aryca (pronounced like Erica :) ) a lifelong cat lover and owner. I believe cats deserve to be spoiled, respected, and told repeatedly how handsome/pretty they are, even if they are actively ignoring me š
I know leaving your pets in the hands of someone else is anxiety inducing, so my goal is to make it as easy and stress free as possible for both you and your fur baby š„°. Iāll follow their normal routine, give them as much (or as little š¤) attention as they want, and of course send you all of the photo/video updates that you want! I also have experience administering meds, my kitties are both on daily meds themselves and I used to work in a veterinary hospital.
Whether your cat wants cuddles, playtime, a respectful 6 foot distance , or just someone to refill their food/water bowl while they judge me from across the room, Iām happy to do any of the above š¤

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Most of all I enjoy getting to know each catās unique personality! I love when a shy cat slowly warms up to me, when a playful cat decides itās time for chaos, or when a cuddly cat chooses my lap as their place for a nap :). I also really enjoy knowing that Iām giving both the cat and their owner some peace of mind while theyāre away
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have 2 cats myself :) they are siblings from the same litter! They were bottle babies so they are ultra obsessed with me, I feel so lucky to have such affectionate Velcro babies š„°. One is a Flamepoint and his name is Goose (aka Goosegoose, Gooby, Goobington, Goober) and his sister is a tiny little tabby name Roo š„° (aka Woowoo, Wooty, Wooty-tooty, Woobler)
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I always let timid or anxious cats set the pace, I will never force interaction or try to pull them out of hiding. I give them space and use a calm, soft voice, slow movements, offer treats if they are interested and quiet company to help them feel as comfortable as possible :). Iām happy to just sit on the opposite end of the same room and let them get used to my presence. My goal is to make them feel safe and respected while keeping their routine as normal and stress free as possible. Even if their version of a successful visit is just watching me from under the bed while I fill their food/water and clean their litterboxes, thatās okay with me!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
