At home, I run a small hobby farm with chickens and rabbits, but cats hold an especially special place in my heart. I currently have three rescue cats of my own, and Iām very familiar with the unique quirks, routines, and sensitivities that come with feline careāwhether that means giving medication, managing shy or anxious cats, or simply providing companionship on their terms.
Iām happy to provide attentive, compassionate care for your cats, including feeding, litter box maintenance, playtime, medication administration, and any special routines they may need. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I treat every cat as if they were my own.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been providing care for pets for over 30 years I have personally owned cats for 20 plus years. As I have gotten older, I have grown to appreciate the independent and quiet nature of cats. I would never be without a cat in my life.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I enjoy providing care and comfort to both cats and their owners. I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave for a trip and want to make sure that extra special care is taken with your pets that remain at home. I love sending pictures and texts for daily updates.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have three wonderful rescue cats. JB (my constant companion), Jinx (known for finding for the most inappropriate places to sit daily), and Princess Leia (sun worshipper). They all have very unique and quirky personalities and make me smile and laugh everyday.

Amy did a fabulous job watching my two cats. They are both rescue cats, and this was the first time we have left them. Amy took photos every day, which allowed me to see that they were handling the change well. She also texted updates after each visit. Her efforts allowed me to enjoy my vacation without worrying (too much!), and I came back to calm cats, which just reinforces the knowledge that they were well cared for.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Sunbury cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $28.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
