Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I currently have three cats of my own: > Geno (3) – tuxedo, playful and social > Leo (8) – Maine Coon, gentle and sensitive > Lucie (1) – diluted calico, formerly feral and full of personality > and our “jumbo cat” Ellie (9) - yellow english lab, who really does think she’s a large cat I’ve also grown up in a multi-cat household, all from rescues and shelters, so I’m very familiar with a wide range of temperaments and needs.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! I’m often available during holidays and understand how important reliable care is during busy travel times. I do keep my schedule intentionally balanced, so I recommend reaching out early for holiday bookings. If a date appears unavailable, feel free to message me as there may still be flexibility depending on timing.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I take a very patient, low-pressure approach with anxious cats and never expect them to warm up instantly. I’m comfortable sitting quietly, giving them space, and allowing them to approach on their own terms. As a cat mom to a formerly feral kitty, I understand that trust takes time! I don’t rush that process or treat initial visits as a strict time limit. I use gentle encouragement like treats (when appropriate), but always respect each cat’s boundaries and comfort level. My goal is to create a calm, safe presence so your cat feels secure, even if that just means quiet companionship during visits.

Keri is a great cat sitter! From the beginning when I first reached out to her I could tell that she would do a great job. I have a pretty specific routine for my cat at nights and she followed it perfectly. She is very communicative and clearly cares a lot. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Toledo cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $23.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
