Are you usually available during holidays?

I generally have plenty of availability during holidays and welcome any inquiries for holiday care. I’m more than happy to accommodate your cat’s needs during these times when you may need extra help.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

When sitting for a timid or anxious cat, I focus on building trust by giving them space to approach me on their own terms. I begin with calm, slow movements and a gentle voice to create a peaceful environment. Offering treats or a favorite toy helps establish positive associations, and I pay close attention to their body language to ensure they feel safe. Over time, I gradually increase interactions, always respecting their boundaries, so they can feel comfortable and secure.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee

We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.

If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
