My mother said I was a cat lover "before I knew what I cat was." As a child I had two Persians. As an adult, my beloved MirMir was a companion for 17 years. Then I had an Abyssinian and two Japanese Bobtails for over 15 years. After three years of quiet, my husband and I have new kittens on the way.
I have provided cat care for neighbors and friends. A visit is 30-60 minutes. Pet food and water dishes are washed and filled... I will personally provide reliable and compassionate pet care in your home so your cat can remain in familiar surroundings while you are away. I live in Austintown, Ohio and can work in a 20-mile radius.

I have more than 50 years experience of living with cats. This has given me insight into their behavioral signals, for examples tail and ear positioning and the direct eye contact slow blink (cat smile.) My approach to new cats is using a calm voice and allowing the cat to come to me on thier terms. Treats are offered if permitted. I have administered medications.
I am an Advanced Practice Nurse and have worked as an RN for 36 years. I am a member of Pet Sitters International. I am passionate about cats.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
The sense of accomplishment that I have provided excellent care, addressing their basic physical needs and their emotional needs. I enjoy meeting new cats and earning their trust.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
I would recommend having a list of specific requirments to properly care for thier cats. Ask personal questions regarding the sitters background and experience. Evaluate their transportation for reliability. Character references ? Maybe, ask to visit the sitters home. They need to feel that their home and pets are safe.
Are you usually available during holidays?
I am typically availale for holidays with advanced notice. I plan them on a first come, first served basis. I recognize the need for good care while cat parents are away.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
