That being said, I have a part-time job that often requires me to be in early, therefore mornings are sometimes a very tight squeeze for me. Unless your fur-babies require two visits per day, please request an "ANYTIME" OR "EVENING" visit.
I am currently owned by two cats (and a foster fail pit bull mix). When adopting, I am a big believer in letting the pet choose you. As a result, my babies (Xya (pronounced Zy-ah) and ChiChi) are VERY affectionate and in my lap most of the time when I am seated... I live in The Village of Oklahoma City, so service all areas in NW OKC, including Midtown, Nichols Hills, Deer Creek, Bethany, Warr Acres, Edmond and everything in between. If you live close, but maybe just outside of my service radius, contact me. I'd love to see if I can still fit you into my schedule.

I am currently owned by two cats (and a foster fail pit bull mix). When adopting, I am a big believer in letting the pet choose you. As a result, my babies (Xya (pronounced Zy-ah) and ChiChi) are VERY affectionate and in my lap most of the time when I am seated. Xya's favorite spot when I'm working is on my desk. She literally sleeps in the small square between my keyboard, chest, and arms. Which makes typing challenging, but we do make allowances for our felines. ChiChi sleeps with me at night and demands to be under the covers with her head on the pillow! If I'm sitting at my desk, she often rares-up on her hind legs to be lifted into my lap, then proceeds to wrap herself around my neck like a scarf.
I have loads of experience with applying topical ointments and flea preventatives. Eyedrops, especially, and eardrops are always a challenge, but not impossible. Oral medications and pills are also within my skill set. My Xya is allergic to many trees and has required me to give her injections.
I'm a bit of a homebody who enjoys cooking, gardening, photography, and graphic design.
Since COVID began, I wash my hands regularly, and keep hand sanitizer in my car, and keep up to date on my vaccines. You can't be too careful.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been cat sitting via Meowtel since 2022, but often cat and dog sat for neighbors and friends throughout my childhood and adulthood.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Xya and Chichi are my senior girls. They were born in 2010 and 2012 respectively.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
1) Answer any pre-booking questions. 2) Client makes the reservation. 3) I accept the reservation, then notify client that we will schedule a Meet and Greet to exchange details and get key/code during the week or two prior to the reservation.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Cats are not allowed to go outside during a cat sit to be covered by the Meowtel Promise (insurance). However, I can sit for cats that live outside/inside. I will also feed cats that are exclusively outside. Of course, the safety and security of the cats is far better if they remain in the house. I have also sat during extreme temperatures and secure the home by running water in freezing temps and insuring that the AC was functioning properly during extreme heat. I do more than cat sit; I will also be looking out for your home.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes, I am usually available during holidays. I like to stay close to home during these times, and have pets of my own to look after during extreme weather.
What is your favorite cat toy?
What ever the cat likes is best!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I believe in letting the cat come to me and let it set the pace. I try to put eyes on each cat at each visit, and will notify the cat parent if I was unable to find them.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Oklahoma City cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $24.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
