What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been cat sitting for about 10 years. I have a wide range of experience in cat sitting including giving medication.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love meeting new cats and their owners. I enjoy caring for cats and find that cats are much happier staying at home vs being boarded while their owners are away.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes! I have 5 cats. Their names are as follows: Vinny Valentino Nattie Paige Remy Raven
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Don’t focus on the cost. Look at the value that you are getting. Hire someone that you and your cat are both comfortable with.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I like to have an initial home visit to meet the cat parent(s) and cat(s). I like to see where everything is and see where typical hiding places are. I also like to go over what their needs and expectations are.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes I am typically available during holidays. I work holiday plans around my cat sitting and work schedules. I do my best to be available for my clients.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
If a cat is timid or anxious, I will allow them to have their space. I will try to make friends but I won’t force interaction. I will do my best to find their hiding place so that I can ascertain their wellness. I will also monitor their food, water and litter box activity to make sure that they are eating and drinking.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
