What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

As I believe in going above and beyond for both my clients and their owners, prioritizing understanding their pet's and their own unique schedule I would say it’s essential to be sure the sitter you choose does as well! Light housekeeping might sound odd for a pet sitter, but I concur that a clean environment is essential for your pet's well-being and comfort. When a sitter employs meticulous attention to detail and a genuine commitment to creating a nurturing atmosphere, I’d venture to say they’ve earned the chance to strive to be the preferred choice for both you and your baby.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I pay extra attention to and ensure home security. Double checking doors, ask about and removing hazards if and when they arise. I strive to keep owners informed and maintain their safe space. I want to prpvide regular photo or video check-ins, ensure up to date emergency contacts and no matter what: follow instructions!

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee

We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.

If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
