I am fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and boosted... I have owned cats throughout my entire life and I love their company and having their sweet presence around my home. I’ve owned many different personalities of cats such as: shy, difficult cats as well as snuggly, happy cats. I’ve even had to deal with one particularly sweet boy of mine who had multiple health complications and needed a special diet and required medication so I am pretty proficient at getting pills into kitties as needed in a comfortable way. I currently have two cats, Maxine & Marshmallow, and my daughter also identifies as a cat lol she’s 5 and is at cat lover as well. I would be very happy to take care of your fuzzy baby for you just like I take care of my own!
I am fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and boosted. If you have an additional COVID-19 precautions you would like for me to use, just let me know and I would be happy to accommodate. Whatever I can do to make you feel more at ease about being away from your cat, just let me know :)
I work 5 days a week for 7 hours a day- sometimes I work an AM shift and sometimes I work a PM shift, therefore I always have part of my day available to give to you. If you have a specific time of day that you would like me to visit your cat, let me know and more likely than not I will be able to make that happen.
I will always take pictures, video, and provide you with a summary of how my visit went with your cat for each visit. I am also happy to change their litter box, bring pre-approved treats by you over, and do whatever other tasks you need to be completed in order for you to able to enjoy your time away with peace of mind.

I never used Meotel before so I wasn't sure what to expect but oh dang, am i so so so grateful I found Kristin. She was so good to my spoiled princess of a cat and sent so many photos and just seemed to love her as much as I did. Absolutely amazing of a sitter and definitely my go to next time I travel. The fact that she also offered to get mail, bring in packages, and water plants just really stood out as well. So happy with her!

Kristen was amazing and took care of my rescue kitty babies while I was away. I'd give her 6/5 stars if I could! Our cats seemed more relaxed than usual and we believe this is all due to her actually taking the time for each one and checking to make sure all was good with them. Kristen also did a Meet & Greet with us, which was extremely helpful. She knew we were camping so she went above and beyond by not only updating the Meowtel message board, but also texted me at every visit. I'd definitely recommend her and plan on inviting her back into our home for more kitty care in the future.

Kristen did such a good job caring for my two cats! She spent lots of time playing with them, as well as making sure my place stayed clean! She cleaned up stray litter, washed cat dishes as needed, and made sure everything was in order before I got home! My cats didn’t require medications, but she followed my care instructions to the letter, and provided them with some enrichment besides!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Lake Oswego cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $31.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Kristen was spectacularly accommodating of my last minute reservation request. She was highly responsive to all messages and made me feel at ease leaving my boy in her care.
