I have been cat sitting since middle school, first caring for a neighbor’s cats. I’m also comfortable giving medications to cats, as it is somet... I am a life long animal lover and cat owner, currently starting residency as a physician. Although my schedule is pretty busy and random I thought it would be nice to spend some of my free time helping care for other people’s kitties.
I have been cat sitting since middle school, first caring for a neighbor’s cats. I’m also comfortable giving medications to cats, as it is something I do regularly for my family’s 19 year old cat, Carmel. I am willing to learn how to administer subq fluids, injected medications, and inhalers.
Spending time with cats genuinely brightens my day and I often visit animal shelters for fun. I’ll make sure to send lots of pictures of your fur baby/babies while I am watching them! Looking forward to meeting you and your pets!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve been cat sitting for as long as I can remember, starting as a child caring for my neighbors cats when they would go on vacation.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love meeting new cats and learning all their different personalities quirks. It is also rewarding to build a relationship with the cats, keeping them company and giving them the attention they want while their owners are away.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I love to do a home visit to see where everything that I may need for the cat(s) is kept, how to enter and lock their house, and the cat’s routine. I also find it helps to meet the kitty while their owner is there so they can feel less scared when I return alone.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Lake Oswego cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $31.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
