I am a cat magnet. My two kitties, Spoozie and Sylvie, are rescues who came home 9 months apart, and after 6 years together are bonded sisters. They love when I come home from other cat households, so many glorious scents to check out. I have been trading cat care with neighbors and family for years, and now that I'm self-employed/retired, the time is right to expand my services... I am a cat magnet. My two kitties, Spoozie and Sylvie, are rescues who came home 9 months apart, and after 6 years together are bonded sisters. They love when I come home from other cat households, so many glorious scents to check out. I have been trading cat care with neighbors and family for years, and now that I'm self-employed/retired, the time is right to expand my services. It's so important to find the right person for our precious kitties, and meeting in person is the best way to determine if we might be right for each other. As someone who has traveled extensively, I've been fortunate to find the best options for my girls. I want to do this for as many cat families as possible.

I live in the Mt.Scott/ Arleta neighborhood of SE Portland, and am willing to travel almost anywhere on the east side of Portland. My schedule is flexible, my skills include being able to give medications and sending photos of your cat/s every visit to keep you updated. I am fully vaccinated and boostered and will happily wear a mask at your request.

Barbara really loves hanging out with cats and taking good care of them! My cat Odin vociferously welcomed Barbara's presence in our home whenever he saw Barbara arriving on the back street walking seeing from the window sill, he also begged for play time with new toys (lately the stick game), and reciprocated with his paws. Barbara is very thoughtful, loving, caring, and attentive, Odin still missed us being away but still liked hanging out with Barbara not just for water and food but also for emotional connection.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
