I currently don’t have hands on experience admini... Hello to all fellow feline guardians! My name is Elizabeth and I would absolutely love to take care of your precious cat companions. I have always loved all animals, especially cats. I have four cats (Patchy, Cece, Mojito, and Reuben) and they are my whole world! I just completed my certification in advanced feline behavior/training, and I’m passionate about all things cat - whether that be nutrition, behavior, health, enrichment, you name it!
I currently don’t have hands on experience administering diabetes meds or injections, but I am very open to working with cats that have this need after learning from the guardian.
I am available during the week with morning or evening visits, and any time on weekends. When booked, I'd be happy to help with watering plants, retrieving mail, and light cleaning.

Once again she has made our time away so much better with her amazing pictures and notes painting a vivid and reassuring picture of what our little buddies are up to when we're gone. She gives them playtime and cuddles galore and even reports on the health of their poops. This was our second time working with Elizabeth and she will be our first choice whenever she is available. She was so creative meeting the needs of our 3 very different kiddos, including enticing our shy boy out of hiding with a trail of freeze dried chicken and giving each of our juniors special attention and cuddles according to their interests. Her pictures are amazing, with action shots and portraits and comedy moments capturing each cat’s personality, and she even caught the cutest blep! I really think she could have a successful side gig as a pet photographer. She left everything clean and in perfect order. We have had other cat sitters in the past but Elizabeth is in a class by herself, and we feel so lucky to have found her.

Elizabeth’s care for our two senior cats was nothing short of exceptional. You can tell she truly enjoys cats and our two definitely enjoyed her. She was communicative and caring, asking questions about health, medication, likes and dislikes before we left them in her care. During our vacation she sent us frequent updates and pictures of them playing and cuddling and took excellent care of their litter boxes, toys and clean up. Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.
Portland cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $30.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet!

From the initial meet and greet to the final check-In, Elizabeth showed up Churu in hand ready to win Edamame over. Elizabeth was always punctual, respectful, communicative, and prepared. Although our fur baby is incredibly shy and a bit skiddish Elizabeth exercized patience and the utmost care, always allowing Edamame the space she needs to warm up to someone new at her own pace. During each visit Elizabeth would immediately sent photos, videos, and gave detailed updates. Elizabeth didn’t skip a beat with the instructions we left to ensure Edamame’s comfort while we were away. Without a doubt, we will be booking Elizabeth to look after our sassy little princess for all future excurions.

I have an elderly cat, who is very grouchy around strangers when I'm not around, and somehow Elizabeth was able to get Stella to approach her.
