When it comes to kitty personalities I am well versed in all temperaments from shy to assertive, playful to standoffish, lovers to fighters and everything in between. I have experience with 2 week old kittens all the way up to 18 year old senior cats.
It's important to me that every cat is comfortable when I visit and that their space and routines are respected... Hello cat purrents! My name is Kyrra and I am a proud mom of nine cats! Yes, that's right, nine! My cats range in age from our sassy, just turned, 1 year old, to my mommy's boy, 13 year old. My love of cats started when I was very young and has only grown over the last 30+ years.
When it comes to kitty personalities I am well versed in all temperaments from shy to assertive, playful to standoffish, lovers to fighters and everything in between. I have experience with 2 week old kittens all the way up to 18 year old senior cats.
It's important to me that every cat is comfortable when I visit and that their space and routines are respected. With multicat homes, please let me know what the the cat dynamics are. I know with mine it can get complicated but I'm here to learn and ensure every cat is happy and well cared for in their own way.
I know how difficult it can be to leave your fur babies at home while you travel (I know it's tough for me). My job is to ensure you feel confident and connected with them while you're away. Knowing that with every visit I will keep their water fresh, their food bowls cleaned/filled, all litter boxes will be scooped and any scattered litter is swept up. I also have no problems cleaning up any kitty messes, giving oral medications or defending the one kitty who needs diet/medicated food. Trust me I do it daily at home.
I would love the opportunity to meet you and your fur babies and set your mind at ease that they will be well cared for while you're away.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I do indeed! From oldest to youngest there's; Felix my all white flame point mommy's boy, Purriosa (Purr) our short legged diva tortie girl, Lila and Lola our twin girls (though ones a bit chonky), Mia our very shy more white tuxedo girl, Xur our long lanky boy, Cleocatra (Cleo) our other tortie girl who is a fighter, Tiny our orange boy who isn't tiny, and Luna our sassy mostly black tuxedo girl.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I will always follow every rule, boundy, and instruction provided and ask plenty of clarify questions if something is unclear. It's important to me that both your home and your cat(s) are cared for exactly as requested.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes, though I do request that plenty of time is given so I can coordinate my schedule and ensure everyone is taken care of.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Giving space and going at their speed is key. Forcing interactions is never okay and it takes time and consistency to build trust.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving

- December 29-31: New Year's 2027

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
