Their names are Bloo and Gracie, When Gracie was rescued she had a terrible infection in her eyes. subsequently, the vet had to remove them. She is the most loving kitty.

If you have any cats with disabilities, I do not shy away from that. My Gracie gets along just like a cat that has their sight. Bloo is my prankster and likes to get into things. He makes life so interesting!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been cat sitting for over 15 years. I follow all instructions the cat parents give me. I also play with the kitties after all chores relating to their care are completed

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I just adore cats. Getting to know a new kitty is so exciting.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

One of my favorite visits was with a very shy kitty. It took some time but I eventually won him over and I was able to pet him and give him lots of love. That was so special to me.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have 2 kitties. I mentioned them in my bio. Bloo is 8 and Gracie is 6.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Someone who is versed in cat behavior. Knowing signs of illness. Someone who is able to follow instructions to the T.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I always have a meet and greet first with all new clients. This is to insure that the client gets to know me and to make sure the cats feel comfortable with me as well.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

Safety and security are top priority. I always enter the home slowly to make sure there are no kitties near the door, ready to escape. When leaving the home I always double check that the lock is secure.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes I am available all holidays except for New Years day

What is your favorite cat toy?

My favorite cat toy is the feather wand. Most cats really love to chase and jump for the feathers. I use a wand toy with a bell on it foe my cat Gracie because she is blind.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

The best way to handle a timid or anxious cat is the talk softly to them and never try to physically remove a cat that is hiding.

I reserved Jill last minute before heading out on an impromptu trip. She was super easy to communicate with and offered to visit our apartment to meet the kitties and get the lay of the land beforehand. Jill is incredibly sweet and provided fabulous care. Jill is an experienced, friendly and attentive cat-sitter. A couple of my cats have medical conditions that require medication and special diets, and Jill administered all medications and followed their special feeding instructions perfectly. Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
