Our meet-and-greet was thorough, and Hillary was pleasant, knowledgeable, and clearly experienced with cats. My cat was in good spirits when I returned home, the litter box was clean, food and water were handled appropriately, and my home was tidy overall. However, two very explicit instructions were disregarded, which is why I could not rate this experience more highly. First, I clearly instructed Hillary both verbally and in writing not to give my senior cat catnip because it makes her sick. When I returned home, there was a large pile of catnip on the windowsill. When I asked about it, she told me she saw catnip among my cat’s supplies and decided to give it to her anyway. Second, I specifically instructed that certain rooms remain closed and off-limits to my cat. I had shut those rooms tightly before leaving and made all necessary supplies easily accessible elsewhere. When I came home, one of the rooms was open and there was cat vomit on the floor inside. The issue for me was not cleanliness or general care — those aspects were fine. The issue was that the two most important instructions regarding my senior cat’s well-being were intentionally disregarded. Pet sitters should follow the pet owner’s instructions carefully rather than substituting their own judgment, especially with older animals and known sensitivities.

Hillary was absolutely outstanding. She did a thorough meet and greet, took the time to introduce herself to my cats, and made sure she gathered all the information she needed before I left. While I was away, she truly went above and beyond, she gave my cats their own little vacation. She spent quality time with them brushing, playing, and interacting, not just stopping in for the basics. She sent detailed updates with photos and videos at every visit, which were exciting to receive and gave me total peace of mind knowing they were being cared for so well. One of my cats can be very moody and feisty, and Hillary handled him with incredible patience and understanding. She even checked in about my travel plans to make sure everything was covered until I was safely home. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Hillary is exactly what I’ve been looking for in a cat sitter. My cat Cody is shy and doesn’t like anyone but me pretty much, but with the help of Bird TV, treats, and lots of active play- Hillary won Cody’s heart. She has a client for life.

Hillary by far met and exceeded our expectations. Even the meet and greet was above and beyond. She is very professional and takes her job as cat sitter very seriously. She truly loves what she does, and it shows! Our meet and greet was very through, covering all the basics, and she went on to make a spreadsheet with all the info, which I personally loved, as I love organization. Our cat is VERY shy when it comes to new people. It often takes a long time for him to get comfortable with others. Once he gets to know you, he is super affectionate. With Hillary, he did hide for the meet and greet, but the first day she arrived as cat sitter when we were away, he was active, playing, and gobbling up all the Churus she was giving him! My heart burst seeing him be so open with someone so new to his world. That alone puts Hillary as the first line of contact for a cat sitter for us when we travel! Something I especially loved about her, though it may seem insignificant to others, is how she wanted to know that we got back ok, that our cat was doing well, and that if for some reason we didn’t get back when we were supposed to, to let her know if we needed her to stop by again. That is true dedication, compassion, and customer service all wrapped up in one extraordinary cat sitter! Thank you for all you do, Hillary! We will be sure to book you when whenever we are in need of a cat sitter!

Hilary was absolutely amazing with our cats while we were on vacation. Her meet and greet was very thorough, she asked any question you could imagine to make sure my cats were well cared for while we were away. During our trip she sent daily photo and video updates. She even made sure to check that we had made it home just in case our cats needed an extra visit. We will definitely be using her again for future trips!

Hillary was very responsive and took the responsibilities of casting very seriously. I was impressed with the time she took at the meet-and-greet to get to know the cats and their daily routine. She was also great during the sit with communications and shared tons of pictures and videos. We had a blip with our home during the visit and she went out of her way to help mitigate it. I was very assured she was taking care of our kitties during our 10-day trip, so I think your cats will be in great hands with Hillary.

Hillary not only did great with our kitties, but was also very flexible when our travel arrangements changed. She brought treats and toys and had “cat TV” playing! Updates and photos/videos artived daily. Would book her again!

Hillary is wonderful… my little boy almost always hides from strangers, but Hillary had him out and playing on the first day (she sent pix)! She clearly loves & understands cats in a special way. And I was super comfortable having her in my house, too—everything we talked about was done just right.

Hillary was fantastic! She was very communicative, sent pics and/or videos daily, and kept my cat engaged with some new puzzles and toys. Hillary also absolutely went the extra mile to share resources and suggestions with me about food, litter, and stimulating toys for my cat. She is very knowledgeable and takes the time to get to know you and your cat’s needs prior to you leaving. Most importantly, Hillary gave my cat lots of affection and I was able to rest easy knowing my cat was in good hands!

Once again, Hillary rose to an unexpected challenge. One of our cats disappeared (in the house) before we left for the weekend. We looked diligently, did not find her, and explained the situation to Hillary, but had to catch a plane. Sure enough, when Hillary arrived the next morning, she discovered that the cat was behind a closed door and now wanting to come out of hiding. Hillary to the rescue!

Hillary always goes above and beyond to provide care and company for our cats, and to ensure that we feel comfortable leaving them. On this particular occasion, she went the extra mile to notify us of an electronic alarm on one of our household devices, and via phone instructions from us, was able to troubleshoot and disarm the alarm. Exceptional!

Hillary goes above and beyond with each visit. Despite one of our cats being very challenging with sitters, Hillary refused to give up on him. In this visit they made tremendous progress. He did not seem nearly as anxious as previous visits, and in fact he may have looked forward to her visiting towards the end of the trip. She managed to get him to take his prescription medication every day which is not an easy task. She also made sure our other cat got enough food and affection during the reservation. Her updates were detailed and she was very responsive if we had questions. Highly recommend especially if you have a cat on medication or behavioral issues with strangers. Hillary is incredible!

Hillary has been fantastic since day one! I found her through a FB group once I moved to the area, and she transcended the hype. She is kind, knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and passionate about what she does. She provided me with recommendations for my cats and gave me peace of mind being away during the holidays with pictures, videos, and updates. She is one of a kind, I cannot recommend her enough!

She has made incredible progress with our cat Bonchon. He has a history of anxiety and aggression but was well behaved (a few hisses aside) for the duration of our trip. Hillary is very conscientious when caring for our cat Misha. it’s reassuring that Misha is being fed, groomed and entertained daily for his well being. That detail to the cat’s care is on display when we arrive home after a trip. Misha is his regular self and not upset nor out of sorts by our being away for a period of time. We have had Hillary watch our 3 pets twice now. She deserves particular kudos for making it to a feeding despite Havertown being struck by falling trees and blackouts. Love getting the frequent video updates (but kinda startled when we arrived home by the bird sounds she had Alexa playing 😊). Even our old lady cat comes out to play! This was the first time that we used Hillary to cat sit. We first met Hillary last week when we had an emergency situation where we needed someone to take care of our sick cat during the day while we were away for a few days. We reached out to Hillary and she responded within the hour and with in a few hours we were having our meet and greet. She came prepared with a list of questions and made some very good suggestions, bringing up things that we hadn't even thought of including being in regular communication with our other Meowtel sitter who was doing the overnight stays! She made sure to interact with our cat during the initial visit and we felt confident from our first meeting that our cat would be in good hands. Our experience was that our cat was in excellent hands. Hillary quickly established a sweet rapport with our cat. Fluffy got a lot of love and attention on a daily basis. Her daily communication included details, pics and videos of what our cat was doing and how he was doing and of things that she was trying and of their interactions together. We are extremely pleased with our experience with Hillary and so grateful that she was there in our time of need. Hillary was very professional and kind and we appreciated her proactive and friendly approach to caring for our Fluffy boy. We'd definitely recommend Hillary to anyone looking for a cat sitter.

As always, Hillary took excellent care of my little guy. Even though he’s shy, he always comes out for some love and company. The video and picture updates let me know that he is happy and well taken care of.

A tale of two kitties- one is a shy sweetheart who is very clingy with her humans, the other is a loveable little jerk. Hillary has them both figured out which is important to keep the peace while the humans are away. Hillary sends pictures and short videos of the cats playing and eating and generally doing things for her that they won’t do for me but that’s ok, I’m open to a new routine. For me, the biggest plus in addition to the above is that Hillary is very accessible and able assuage any concerns within moments of getting in touch with her.

This was the first time Hillary took care of my cat. I have a senior cat that is very clingy and finicky since her lifelong companion passed away and her favorite human left for college. I was worried about leaving her home alone with a new sitter. After the meet and greet, I knew I didn’t have to worry. Hillary was very professional and detail oriented. She wanted to everything about Tiger and had an entire list of questions to make sure she could do her job well. Plus, Tiger took to her right away. Hillary exceeded my expectations while we were gone. She took the time to learn Tiger’s preferences and adjusted to meet Tiger’s needs. Based on the photos and videos, I’d say Tiger was as happy with Hillary as she is with me. Hillary is definitely a cat lover who takes the time to understand what makes them tick. I like knowing my baby-cat is being cared for by someone like Hillary. I will be using Hillary for all my future trips and will be recommending her to anyone looking for a great cat sitter.

Hillary has done it again! My boy is a bossy bully to his sweet gentle sister. I’m used to it but Hillary picked up on it and put him in his place and gave my sweet girl the attention she so desperately craved. They both got their food, treats and playtime and I got pictures, videos and real time updates from Hillary. She has a SUPER quick response time too!

Hillary did an amazing job taking care of my kitties while I was away. Before I left, we had a meet and greet, and Hillary went over the rules and expectations during the reservation. She said she enjoys educating her clients and she did so! She talked to me about the potential harm of my specialized vet food and gave me recommendations for other foods that are more appropriate for cats (fewer grains, more meat). When my cats were unsure about or not eating their food, Hillary brought her own food from home to help my kitties eat more. She gave me great recommendations for how to give my pills to my cats, including adding in additional supplements to help their kidneys! Even though my cat may know which treat the pill is in, it was still helpful to try new ways. She introduced me to catTV too! Hillary always made sure to send me lots of photos and videos! I think my cats had more fun staying home than we did on vacation thanks to Hillary. In addition to doing a thorough job with feeding, cleaning the litter box and general playtime, she introduced my cats to CatTV. chirping birds and animal sounds sent my cat Buddy straight to the moon he was so excited. I’ll keep CatTV in my back pocket for when we need to get the zoomies out or before I’m going to be away for a bit. Kudos to Hillary and her endless bag of tricks!

Hillary took great care of our purr babies! She fed them, gave them snacks, played with them, and took care of litter, and even turned on the TV for them to watch birds and mice so they wouldn’t get bored while we were away. We have 6 cats and taking care of them is quite a handful, and Hillary was able to handle it very well. She had no problems when we had to adjust our schedule and we really appreciate that. Now we are back home and see six happy well taken care of cats who are super excited to have us back to entertain them, and we are glad we booked with Hillary to help us make sure everything went smoothly while we were away.

Hillary was great! Our cat is a huge challenge for sitters. He gets very aggressive with strangers, often swiping, hissing, and attacking. I had warned Hillary in advance about his behavior, but she came through for us and eventually mostly won him over when we were out of town for two weeks. We have a very difficult cat and we were impressed that she persevered and took care of him when he was on his worst behavior. Thanks, Hillary! Will absolutely book again.

Excellent - Five Stars! I am very picky about the care of my cats and Hillary covered all the bases with perfection. I’ve never used a cat sitter service before as a family friend would look in on the cats on occasions I was away. When this person could no longer help us, I discovered Meowtel and Hillary Bloom popped up at the top of the ratings list of cat sitters in the area. Hillary was scheduled to check in on the two cats over several separate scheduled outings. She followed instructions perfectly regarding special feeding requirements and such. She cleaned up dirty cat dishes and all the litter boxes while making an effort to get to know and interact with each of the cats during her scheduled visits. Hillary was punctual, reliable and provided detailed updates of each visit via the Meowtel app. She also fed fish in 2 tanks and put out food and water for outdoor critters! The Moewtel app is easy to use and enables communicating directly with Hillary. She promptly responds to messages. Having confidence my cats are well looked after in the particular way I need reduces anxiety of being away from home. I look forward to future trips away while having my cats looked after by Hillary. Knowing and trusting Hillary’s attention to detail provides a piece of mind. That piece of mind is the value Hillary provides and is well worth the money.

Hillary does a fantastic job with our cat Misha. This is the third time that we have used Hillary’s cat caretaking services. Hillary has an amazing talent as a cat whisperer. Misha does not like strangers, but, somehow, she puts Misha at ease to where Misha is at the door when she arrives. As Misha is a floofy cat, (aka, very big longhair furball), Hillary takes the time to groom him which a Herculean effort. Hillary also offers useful advice which helps Misha in the long run. We will always use Hillary as our cat caretaker when we are away.

I chose Hillary because of her qualifications and positive reviews about her skill with difficult cats. My cat Meisha is very anxious and was prescribed an appetite stimulant cream to be applied on her ear. Hillary assured me it would be fine and convinced me to book longer times so Meisha could acclimate. She only got meds on Meisha once, described it as messy, and canceled after 4 days because Meisha wasn't eating. I had to be by my ***** each time Hillary was over to coach her, which was unreasonable. Hillary kept complaining that Meisha was not approaching her despite being told about Meisha’s temperament multiple times. I let her skip medicine the first day to keep Meisha's stress down. Hillary then kept skipping doses without permission. Hillary catastrophized, telling me I should ask the vet for bloodwork and a feeding tube, when the medicine works. I paid for an expert so I wouldn't be worried about Meisha. Instead, I had to leave my family reunion (and say an early goodbye to family I rarely see). Once I gave Meisha her medicine, she was eating. I drove her to a relative's house where she was checked on once a day by their sitter, who did not claim the same level of credentials as Hillary and never met Meisha. She medicated her easily. Looking back at my messages with Hillary, clips of footage from my camera, and discussions with my family (three of whom worked as vet techs), I don't believe Hillary offered Meisha the care she needed. Hillary couldn’t locate the dosage ruler on the meds package and instead used her phone, which was likely off-scale. She approached Meisha head on with the meds in plain sight, looming over her and blocking her in the closet. She told me she used a thin sheet and my oven mitt instead of a towel to wrap her. Hillary used an approach-back-down-approach method that seemed to only stress out Meisha. I want to note the positives. Hillary was thorough in the meet and greet. She gave food and water and cleaned the box. She offered to water my plants and collect mail. However, I cannot say I was happy with the overall experience. I am a little miffed at how expensive this was for the amount of stress it caused. Also, while it is nowhere near as distressing as her interactions with Meisha, I was unhappy with Hillary’s cleanliness. She left a used litter scoop on my carpeted floor and drops of wet food on my cabinet. She told me early in the week that she cleaned throw up, but on her last day she asked where I kept cleaning supplies. I had left them next to Meisha’s food.

I always feel secure when Hillary is with my Chilly. He's elderly with serious health issues and she tends to him with true caring.

If you’re on the fence about booking a cat sitter, run, and book Hillary. quick response time, goes above the normal requests, Hillary gets cats! she is very thorough at the meet and greet and even offers to bring in the mail and packages. If you’re missing your fur babies, Hillary will take care of that with written updates, pictures and videos. I’m torn between keeping her a secret and letting everyone know that there is someone out there as thorough as Hillary.

Hillary has been catsitting for us for several years, and consistently does a great job. Not only does she feed the cats and clean the litter, but she spends "quality time" playing with them and providing some human companionship in our absence. Her communication skills are great--she always sends updates and photos, and responds very promptly whenever we message her.

Hillary is truly a cat whisperer. Our cat Misha, is a very skittish pet and is very afraid of strangers. During the first couple of days, Hillary didn’t see Misha, but could tell that he was there. Amazingly, Misha grew fond of Hillary, especially with the brushings! Hillary is the first stranger that Misha actually trusted to be near him. Hillary is also very dedicated and flexible pet sitter. During the pet sitting reservation, our basement flooded due to heavy rain and Hillary relocated Misha’s food & litter box upstairs so he didn’t have to maneuver around the puddles. That is the definition of dedication and of great care and concern for Misha. Hillary is also a great wealth of information. She introduced us to different kinds of food for Misha, suggestions for grooming and trimming, (Misha is an extremely floofy cat) and suggestions for administering meds. Last, but not least, Hillary provided daily reports and pictures about Misha and we were able communicate with her thru the website during our trip even though we were many time zones apart. This was the first trip where I was not concerned/anxious about Misha as I felt he was in very good hands. I will definitely have Hillary take care of Misha again when the need comes up. Hillary is the best cat sitter available today.

Hillary is an excellent sitter. She is able to handle my cats with all of their quirks and differences. They enjoyed play time with her and watching bird videos on T.V. She also sent me pictures and videos of the cats twice a day so I could see what they were doing. The videos included her playing with the cats. She taught me how to pill one of my cats and sent me a video of how she did it. For the first time in years of owning cats, I was able to give one his pill. The best part is that I was able to enjoy my vacation without the worry of how my cats were. She even asked me to let her know when I returned so that she knew the cats were under my care. She also understood that I have a fear of my cats getting out and insured that they were safe. She is pleasant and it easy to talk to her. She is also assessable if needed. I will continue to use her.

Hillary took excellent care of my cat Belle. When a possible health issue occurred, she suggested an earlier visit to Belle the next day (I was in OR), in case Belle needed a vet . Belle was okay next day, but knowing Hillary was willing and able to do what Belle needed greatly relieved my mind.

Hillary is a great cat sitter. Where do I start. She has knowledge of cats and is willing to share that knowledge with us. She knows the stores in the area and which store would carry a brand of food the could be used. She is excellent at medicating cats. She is aware of their personalities and the different ways to work with them. She follows the cat's schedules and various needs. She plays with the cats and spends time with them. One of my cats is 19yo and she ensures that he gets what he needs. I totally trust her with my cats and know they are getting the best care possible. And the pictures are great. I have no worries when I am gone and know the care is excellent.

Thank you so much to Hillary for taking care of our three babies while we were away on vacation. Our one kitty Patches is very old and got sick right before us leaving and Hillary was amazing and was able to take us on last minute. She kept us updated the entire time and even took the time to syringe feed Patches on the days he was not feeling good and administer medications. He needs lots of love and attention and Hillary gave our boys just that. She is outstanding at what she does and would recommend her to anyone! Our boys now watch squirrel TV daily!

Coming off of several bad experiences with other sitters, she has greatly reduced the anxiety I’ve felt about leaving my cat at home when I’m out of town. Hillary even thought of things about the care for my cat that I didn’t even think of. She even had several ways for my 20-year-old tabby to take her pill without me being there to give it to her. We have 3 cats that Hillary lovingly cared for and spoiled. They had never been without us for anything close to the 10 days we were gone. She texted and sent pictures and videos of the kitties after every visit. One of our cats needed to get a pill each day and due to Hillary's experience with cats and cat care, she used an ingenious way with a treat that our cat loved. She also called Chewy.com on our behalf when there was a problem with an order. We can't recommend Hillary high enough! She is very resourceful, dependable and knowledgeable.

Hillary was great with our kitties. Ellie is slowly, but surely warming up to her through playtime and treats. Harry is our very shy boy. He very much enjoyed the home grown catnip Hillary left for our kitties. This was all very well documented through videos and pictures that she sent us. We also have added cameras to our home so we can watch our kids sleep, eat, chase from afar. Hillary doesn't mind them at all.

Hillary is an awesome cat sitter and took great care of our kitties as if they were her own. She sends updates and photos during her visits which made me feel at ease during our travels. She introduced our two cats to “cat tv” and gave them a toy made from an upcycled baby sock with her homegrown cat nip - they absolutely love the toy! I know I will book Hillary the next time we travel because I trust her and love the top notch care she gave our babies.

Hillary is a wonderful cat sitter. She medicated my sick guy and shared her awesome pilling tips with us. She provided lots of love and enrichment for our cats. She followed instructions and shared lots of photos and videos to let us know how they were doing. She definitely is passionate about cat sitting and I'm so glad we found her. Hillary is an excellent cat sitter. She is reliable which I consider very important. She is good with my cats(5) and very patient with their quirks. After feeding them she plays with them and makes sure that all cats are content. Also introduced them to cat videos. She my wishes on how to feed them so that there is not any disruption in their routine. I also asked her to pill one of my cats as I had not been able to do so. She sent me a video of what she does and the routine that she uses. Also told me which was the best product to use to put the pill into. My cat is now taking his medication with no problems. She also spent time with my shy cat getting her to play. There is no doubt that I will use her again.

Our cat was diagnosed with diabetes the day before our international holiday was due to start. Hillary was a god send. I was able to enjoy my time away knowing that Smokey was getting top notch care. I could tell smokey loved Hillary.

Once again Hillary took excellent care of our kitties! She also pointed out a potential health issue with one of them, so we are extra appreciative of her attention to details and our cats' wellbeing.

Hillary took great care of our older boy while we were on vacation. She was attentive and kind. Sent great daily updates and photos/videos. When we returned home our boy was calm and happy. Hillary has taken care of our 3 cats several times over the last few months, following the retirement of our longtime pet sitter, and we have scheduled several other occasions in the future based on her conscientious and interactive care of our cats on the first few reservations. Hillary came to the meet-and-greet, with well prepared and thoughtful "intake" questions that indicated her experience with and knowledge of cats! She is very professional, but every visit when we are away is a true "visit," not just a business appointment. She engages the cats and plays with them as well as taking care of their feeding and litter needs. She keeps us in the picture (literally) with videos and text messages. We experienced a bit of a hiccup in travel plans for our most recent trip, and Hillary handled everything with aplomb. In short, we feel comfortable leaving our cats to travel, confidant that they are in the caring hands of a knowledgeable and experienced "cat person."

My cats had nothing but good meows to say for Hillary. Apparently my normally stand offish guy was putting on the charm, so more kudos to Hillary for pulling that out of him. Hillary is a go to for my Mamalade. The time she has spent with him while I’ve been away has been good for him in many ways. Since Hillary befriended him he’s become much more social. Mamalade actually comes out and let’s people pet him now, which never used to happen.
