I put traveling on hold for a long time because I had a hard time trusting someone else to take care of my furbabies the way I would. Being away from them is hard enough, worrying about if they are being cared for is a whole extra worry in itself.
Thatās why I decided to become a cat sitter on this app to help give other cat parents that peace of mind too!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
30 years of spending my life with kitties. I have had cats my entire life. Iāve taken care of multiple cats of my own, as well as actual cat sitting.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love hanging out with the kitties and making sure they feel loved while their favorite person is away as well as giving peace of mind to the parent because I get it.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have two kitties and a resident feral cat I feed. Cali was my first neonatal kitten, I have had her since she was 1 day old because she got seperated from her mama sadly. She is 6 years old. And my old man Louie who Iāve had for 17 years and counting.
Are you usually available during holidays?
I can usually be flexible for holidays!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
My husband and I have an extremely calm household which I find most cat owners who do, have very calm/shyer cats. Loud noises, unusual crazy energy can stress any cat out, that is used to their calm environment. My kitty Cali is a normally calm chill cat but she hates the sound of boxes or anything scary lol so I understand on a personal level when it comes to taking extra care with nervous kitties ā¤ļø

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
