i have experience with cats from different age gr... hiii! my name is kelly and i would love to watch over your kitties for you! i work completely remote so i am available a majority of the time. i have two loving cats of my own, Loki & Sonny. they were both strays from the streets so i have a soft spot for strays!
i have experience with cats from different age groups, temperaments and distributing medications. since my cats were all from the streets, i am well acquainted with skittish behaviors. i understand that some kitties need time and space getting used to new people

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
i love meeting new kitties!! every cat i pass on the street automatically gets a “hiii baby” from me. i carry cat treats in my purse at all time haha. cats require the same attention and needs as dogs do and i’ll make sure of that!

currently my two boys Loki & Sonny! (i had a previous baby named Kitty who is playing in heaven now)
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
i understand everyone has boundaries, especially kitties! i handle them with the same respect and care as i would with any other cats. my cats are shy as well so i give them the patience they require without overstepping boundaries. i will approach them slowly, not make any sudden noises and speak softly

I went away for a week to a different continent and was nervous about leaving my cat alone for the first time for this long, but Kelly was amazing and very reassuring. She arrived at my house promptly everyday, took care of my cat (Zuko), made sure he was okay, cleaned his litter box, fed him or made sure he was fed (we have an automatic feeder), played with him, provided enrichment, gave him treats as instructed (optional, but if given treats - what amount of the treat(s)), etc. Basically everything I needed for him. She also sent pictures and videos and described his behavior/how he played which was nice cause I missed him lol. You can tell she loves cats and has a passion for them. I would definitely ask her again with full confidence and trust in her to cat sit in the future.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
