I have 3 kitties of my own, each with a different temperament, so I understand how important it is to have a cat sitter who can adjust to your cats needs and personality.

When you book with me, you can expect the best of care for your babies. In addition to the essentials, such as feeding, fresh water, scooping the litter box, and playing with them, I will send as many pictures and videos as your heart desires. I also have experience applying topicals such as flea/tick preventives and administering medicines such as pills and liquid medicine via oral syringe.

I treat every cat like they’re my own, so you can rest easy knowing your cats are in good hands :)

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Yoshi (7), Daisy (1.5), and Peach (1.5)! Yoshi was abandoned in the Poconos by his old owners, so watching him go from terrified and shy to playful and sassy has been the best journey Daisy and Peach are a bonded pair of very energetic kitties that I adopted from a local cat cafe :)

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I typically do an intake of some sort to get to know your cat(s) personality, preferences, and any special needs. This helps make the visit as smooth as possible for the cats and the parent! This also gives the parent a chance to ask me any questions they might have as well.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I always let the cat set their boundaries and lead the interaction. I will never approach an anxious cat from above, so I lower myself to the ground to ensure I am not coming off as a treat. I stick my hand out in a fist to allow them to smell me if they feel comfortable enough to approach me. If they’re food motivated, I’ll leave a treat or two partway between us or in my hand for them to eat. If the cat is too shy to approach, I do not force it. I can still give them plenty of love from afar until they feel more comfortable coming up to me :)

Booked Anika pretty last minute given a change in travel plans and she was incredible. Super accommodating and took great care of my cats while I was away. One of my cats made a bit of a mess and had an accident outside of the litter box which she graciously cleaned up. She provided me with timely updates and was very communicative throughout. Will definitely be booking with her again!

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
