What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love meeting cats with all different personalities. I love cats who play hard to get and take a special amount of patience to build trust with. I love goofy cats with quirky needs. I love bringing care and social time to a cat who is missing their pet parent.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

My beloved cat Frisco has been with me for 16 years since he was a kitten. He’s still rambunctious and mischievous and so loving! I lost my other long loved cat, Finn, to illness in 2024 and I miss her all the time.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I love to hear from the pet parent first about their cats unique needs, personality, boundaries, and likes and dislikes.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I always make sure to look out for cats as I am opening and closing doors. I always make sure that all cats in the home are present and accounted for and appear healthy and happy. I always make sure to carefully lock up when I’m done a visit.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Usually! I tend to stay in town for most holidays and love to drop in on my regular kitty clients before I have a holiday meal or hang with my family and friends.

Boston was a complete professional in making sure Franz and Ferdinand were safe and fed while we were in Madrid. Philadelphia even had a blizzard while we were away and Boston allowed us an extra day to check that the cats were ok while the city was snowed in! Overall it was a stress-free vacation knowing our cats had everything they needed while we were away!

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
