Hi everyone! Tao here! My cat’s name is Bibi/B.B. I’m a big fan of cats! :)

I have been pet sitting here and there over the past decade. Just recently (June 2025) learned about this app so I’m here reporting for duty and willing to help cat owners in need!

Bibi was originally a stray, and when he chose me to be his owner, I discovered that he is FIV positive (was also diagnosed with feline leukemia the first time I brought him to the vet). I’ve learned so much through him... Hi everyone! Tao here! My cat’s name is Bibi/B.B. I’m a big fan of cats! :)

Bibi was originally a stray, and when he chose me to be his owner, I discovered that he is FIV positive (was also diagnosed with feline leukemia the first time I brought him to the vet). I’ve learned so much through him. He has taught me how to be friends with stray, how to bond and form a family together, how to live with a cat with chronic illness (and separation anxiety lol), how to manage time and resources, and most importantly, how to treasure the limited time we share with each other.

Because of BiBi, I am passionate about helping others when they need someone to catsit! Love is boundless. If you need my help, let me know! I’d be more than happy to be there. Due to Bibi’s condition, I do appreciate at least 24 to 48-hour notice.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I’ve been pet sitting here and there for the last decade. It started with helping out professors at my college, and I did it for free too because I just loved cats and dogs so much!!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

Just being there for the cats. If they need help and support and I can be there, who am I to say no? Also there’s literally no down side to fill up my phone with more and more cat photos and videos!!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Communication is important! Let’s talk about cats! It would be best if medical history, recent vet visits, and some info on the cat’s behavior/personalities can be shared prior to the actual visits.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Of course! I’m usually around for holidays. I regularly update my calendar so if you see I am open, I’m up for it!

What is your favorite cat toy?

Those small springs that can distract most cats! Very helpful too if I’m visiting cats who should be indoors but are just too curious about the outside world.

Tao was the most attentive cat sitter and offered to help with other chores while I was away. Everyday I got cute cat photos and updates on what they were up to or if anything unusual was happening in the apartment. I will definitely be asking for his services again and would highly recommend!

Tao is a great sitter! He was very communicative during booking and scheduling, extremely thorough during the visit, and even more while sending real-time updates. He left the place as I left it, always letting me know if José had vomited or not. He took the waste out for trash day and even offered to water the plants! I lucked out with my availability working with Tao's and I would 100% book this sitter again.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Philadelphia cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
