I am a big cat lover. I grew up with four cats, and currently have 2 of my own- Henry and Simon. Henry is a ginger tabby and Simon is a Russian blue and I adore them! (I am a musician and some of my merch designs even feature my cats! :) ).

Henry has had a tough year and has had to go on a few different medications for anxiety, as well as a specialized diet, so I am well-versed in administering various medications (liquid and pills) and topical ointments as well as ... I am a full-time musician and work a lot from home. I set my own schedule and love spending time with my cats. My work enables me to have some flexibility to take care of your cats! I look forward to working with you and meeting your kitties.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been cat sitting with Meowtel for almost a year, but before that I was cat sitting for friends and colleagues. I grew up with cats in my family, and my husband and I have two cats. I feel very comfortable around cats, have had to deal with my fair share of cat issues in my own house (medication, UTI issues, dietary restrictions, emergency vet visits, fleas, worms, etc!). I understand how much people love their cats because I love mine so much!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I just love being around cats! There is nothing quite like getting to spend time with cats to cure a mood. I love the company, and the pure love. Plus, I love the silliness of cats ;)

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

I really love all of the cats I get to meet- they are all unique and funny in their own ways; however, one in particular comes to mind :) I have gotten to watch an older cat a couple of times now. She needs daily medication because she has some health issues and sometimes you have to force the pills down. She is so funny because she definitely does not love when I do that, but I love her so much. I believe I reversed her decline because of how annoyed with me she was that I made her take her pills! She got so pissed at me that she got a second wind!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I do! I have a ginger tabby named Henry (age 7) and a Russian blue named Simon (3). They are hilarious and each so different and I adore them!

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes! It depends on the day, but I am often available during holidays or days when other folks may not be available due to the nature of my schedule. Always feel free to ask!

What is your favorite cat toy?

honestly, i love a box for cats to enjoy! 😂 (they seem to love those the most!)- a big tie for first place are those spiral toys. My cats adore them!

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I like to physically kneel down and very slowly put my hand/finger to their nose so that they can sniff me/feel safe. Then if that goes well, I will try to pet them very slowly. If they are too timid and prefer to hide, I will just calmly call their now, and say reassuring phrases "it's okay, I love you, etc." I like to give the cats their space and time to feel safe and less timid.

Sophie was awesome!! She consistently sent me pictures and updates while I was away, she got my typically shy cat to play and hang out right from the start, and was a pro when it came to administering meds (that my cat got prescribed the week I was leaving!). After meeting Sophie at the meet and greet and seeing some pictures from her first visit, I felt at ease knowing she would be checking in on my cat while I was away!

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
