What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

The thing that I love most is being able to see the personality of each cat. There are some things almost all cats love: strings, food, playtime, but every one of them has a unique personality so hanging out with them is always so fun. Watching them never feels like work.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

My favorite cat sitting reservation was with a very shy, three legged cat. She hid the first two visits but one visit I went to the use the bathroom and she thought I had left. When I opened the door I saw she snuck out of hiding to eat the food I’d left her. She froze when she saw me and I sat down where I was. She ate her food and sniffed me a bit. It took another visit but once she realized I wasn’t bad she’d come out to eat with me there until one day she let me pet her. After that she was super affectionate even yelling at me for food from then on. I loved earning her trust like that.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes, I am typically available during all major holidays this includes Christmas, Christmas Eve and thanksgiving as well as NYE and NY day.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee

We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.

If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
